My family has a history of leg pains...and my children inherited them too....we tell the kid's they are "growing pains" but, basically, it's a form of arthritis they will have to deal with

One thing that had always helped us all: take a towel and soak it in hot water, wring it out, and wrap around knees/leg, with another towel under their leg to keep furniture/bed from getting wet....the humidity as well as the heat seems to be really effective....repeat as neccessary

Good Luck!

My sister had the same problem... they tried to take her to the doctor but she was scared of needles... later we ascribed it to growing pains...It could be just that: growing pains... but you should still take him to the doctor to get it checked out. For now, trying iceing and heating to ease the pain.

Unfortunately children don't stop growing untill they are in there late teens.
I would seek medical advice to see if there is any relife a doctor can prescribe.

that doesn't sound like growing pains. they usually don't hit until about 9 at the earliest and can go on periodically til about 16. have you had him looked at? i'd take him an orthopedist.

Maybe you should have treated him better when he was a baby
