Think I might have a Hernia, and although it doesn't cause too much pain at the moment, how long do you think I can leave it?

I mean, can it repair itself... I really don't like bothering my Doctor as he is always very busy.

I have a friend contaminated with HPV and she have a contact with her husband who happened to be unaware he is a carrier of the disease. They have a contact last july 2006 and it was only this month when my friend was diagnosed to be having genital warts. The warts are very small. Is this a serious disease? How about the carrier? He admitted hiring once a prostitute wayback dec 2004 before their marriage. What is the incubation period to this disease?

my boyfriend fingered me like 8 hrs ago and it still hurts. at the time it hurt as well...and it didnt feel good at all. hes fingered girls before and he said they said it felt good...so i assume he knows what he is doing. does it hurt all the time..or is he doin somethin wrong?

I am currently 25 yrs and the thing thats hasseling me is my periods have been pretty irregular for a while now and with the job timing i have and the commitments i try to keep its hard to go to the doctor for a complete check up, now the real problem is that this week i managed to make time to see my boyfriend for a small session in the afternoon - a quickie since we keep missing eachother every third day he works on the riggs and we dint use any protection this time... i was wondering is there chances to get pregnant inspite my problem Please Help !!!!

It seems to me that prolonging the life of a person with HIV/AIDS only gives that person more time to spread the disease. Is there a program to make sure that the people who are given these drug "cocktails" understand how important it is to be responsible and stuff with regards to spreading the disease? Is there a way to hold them accountable? What about 3rd world countries where the women are having their second or 3rd HIV infected baby, but they are receiving life prolonging drugs. I know it sounds rude and cruel, but I'm trying to understand the benefit vs the drawbacks to society and research.

It was more brown than red.Is this a good way to know if someone's blood is full of toxins? (I eat junk food almost everyday). A healthy person's blood should look fresh bright red (crimson, burgundy, scarlett or fire-engine) just like what you see in the movies, am I right?

Ok, I'm 17 and I haven't had my period since the end of Jan/beginning of Feb. I was supposed to have it at the beginning of January, but I skipped that one too. So i havent had a period in about 3-4 months. I have taken 4 or 5 at home pregnancy tests and they have all came out negative. My mom told me that when she was pregnant with my little brother that the doctor's and the at home tests didn't come out positive until she was about 4 months along. Is it possible that that is happening to me too? I am really worried because I am supposed to start college in June. Has this happened to anyone else? I am not really stressed out, so i don't think that that is what is causing me not to have my period. Could there be something seriously wrong with me, like a medical condition or something? Is there anything else besides pregnancy and stress that could cause me to miss my periods? Please help...

ok this is really getting on my nerves i went to have a pregnancy test done at planned parenthood and well it was negative, yet they couldn't tell me why I haven't had a period since February and why i had have pregnancy symptoms such as:

*nasuea dry heaving (i don't vomit ever)
*cramping like period cramps
*increase of vaginal discharge
*frequent urination
*hard lower stomach
*a light brown line from belly button down
*veins sticking out on breast
*tender nipples and breast
*more tired then normal
*swollen legs
*lower back pain
*pimples
*missed period for three months
*more gassie then normal
*pressure under breast

i just don't know what to do something is wrong and no one is telling me what or why if anyone has any idea please help.

I was once a heavy drinker in high school, but have since slowed things down VERY much and managed to graduate with 2 high level awards for major and minor and the highest general honors... I feel in control...

BUT--> I still drink pretty heavily 1 night a week, very occasionally 2 since its the only time I get to kick back (weekends)...

Can this lead to alcohol-reliance or severe damage because of my past? Should I be worried?

I plan on stopping when I enter law school next year entirely... Before that, .I'm travelling for a month, and where I'm going I HAVE to enjoy the wine.... After I plan to drink at only weddings and sepcial occasions.. I guess I am just worried about my body.


How much damage could I have done from highschool until college graduation? I've been reading up and its making me... nervous!

I've known people to drink much more, but who knows where THEY'LL be in 20 years!

Im in college, and i drink about 10 beers on friday and saturday which is 20 a week, i havent thrown up since new years but sometimes i still forgot some things. do you think this amount of drinking can cause permanent damage? Most of my friends drink atleast 3 or 4 nights a week.
