taking any type of controlled drug is illegal when people say they are only using for recreational purposes they usually mean to heighten there mood when partying, all drugs affect the body in different ways but they do all alter the chemicals in the brain and the way in which the brain receives messages, which is why people will feel more confident etc when taking them. but all drugs do have a come down affect i.e tiredness irritability dehydration.each time a person takes a drug your body develops an immunity to it so that the person needs to take more.some drugs such as heroin are physically addictive which means you will have severe withdrawals when the drug has left the body this happens because, your body makes it's own pain killers called opiates, heroin is a fake opiate so when you take it your body stops making it's own so when you stop taking heroin you have no opiates in your system and you start to withdraw symptoms are diarrhea, constant yawning, sneezing, stomach cramps, vomiting, pain in your legs, insomnia, sweating not nice.taking all drugs is dangerous i know this as i used what i thought was recreational for years then i moved on to heroin it took me 7 years to get clean, but i am clean now, hope this has helped if not sorry.
