After a close person to me death I went crazy, I became mute, never to talk again, I write online but I cry everyday and I just won't eat. My parent took me to a doctor but I don't like doctors for many reasons. I have been though so much in my life that I even thought about killing myslef. Not only have I never had friends I was beet up by so many and raped at young ages. How can I go on living in this world?

My mom continues to smoke and also has to take oxygen. Is there any danger of an explosion? How close would she have to be to the tank in order for there to be danger?

My son is 13 yrs old and still has some baby teeth. What's bothering me is that he has his second canine tooth that has come down without loosing his baby one first. It's been like that for months now and is completely through. Just recently its done the same on the other side only it's just showing. He says when he touches it with his tongue it hurts. I have booked him into the dentist. Do you think he will need braces? I'm not sure what to expect. I took him to the dentist when it first started to come through and was told to leave it and let nature take it's course the baby tooth will fall out. But it's not even loose now. Are they likely to remove the primary teeth?

I looked up some symtoms and have very few but im still worried i have that or vaginitis. I've been bleeding during intercourse and its driving me crazy! Its like i will bleed a lot...then just lil spots...then not at all...then a lot again...and its always during. And there is never no pain..just blood. I'm getting my first pap in 2 weeks and hopefully i figure out whats wrong because this cant be normal. But what do you guys think is causing this? It can go away and stop right...sometimes i just dont want to have sex anymore because of the bleeding. Please help...i deeply appreciate any advice!!!

About 2 and a half years ago, I developed a pain around my navel (as if it was being pulled from the inside), and a low fever. Over the course of a couple days, it moved to the area of my right kidney, and got REALLY painful. It would hurt with every cough, sneeze, or any sudden movement, I even had to bend a certain way to walk. Then one day, I woke up, and it was just gone, so I thought no more about it. Recently, a friend of mine was complaining of the same symptoms (exactly the same, location, movement, and fever), I told him it was nothing, it'd go away in time. His girlfriend dragged him to the hospital, were he was told his appendix had ruptured. He is now preparing for surgery... I've been told for most of my life that untreated appendicitis is a death sentence, which leads me to 2 possible conclusions. Either my friend was mis-diagnosed, or I somehow DID survive it, with just a couple weeks of blinding pain....

I know someone who is having a spinal fusion after having the same bulging disc repaired twice within 3 months of eachother.
I don't know anyone who has had it so I'm looking for people who have...

Ok, I'm a guy on a 1500 max calorie a day diet (recommended by my doctor to lose weight - I hate my stomach), I do resistance bands and sit-ups/push-ups/jump rope 3 days a week (progress was SLOW so far - nearing 2 months in now, overall), and recently started taking Lipo-6 and GNC's multi-vitamin. Now I am thinking of buying an elliptical machine from Wal-Mart. My current goal is to lose around 60 pounds in the next year or sooner (currently about 5'11" and 220 pounds), and get a body more like, say, Tobey Maguire in Spiderman when he first wakes up at home after being bitten (seen that flick?). Brad Pitt in Fight Club can come later! So, are there any suggestions to add to or modify this plan so that I am not disappointed by the time of my one-year deadline (I don't like going to our local gym very much either)? I'm also kinda pale and get sunburned very easily, so how in the world do I also get a tan without that fake crap that you rub on that turns you orange? Thanks!!!

I am going to my surgeon tomorrow to discuss acl reconstructive surgery. I tore it slightly when I was 16 and in January I tore it completely (i'm 25 now) I tried the therapy route and it helped, but not enough. I have a 2 1/2 year old daughter I need to keep up with. I'm not really active in sports, but I would like to be. My question is, how effective is this surgery and should I use a graft from my own knee or leg, or a cadaver graft? I've done quite a bit of research online and even watched some surgeries. I know I'll have a tough road of therapy afterwards, but I'm very willing to do it.

Also, how soon would I be able to return to work? I bartend on saturdays at my parents bar. Nothing too busy, just a laid back country bar. I don't want to be out too long, but just looking for some sort of timeframe. Thanks! :)
