Rowing type exercises will work the lats with less emphasis on the biceps

The lats pull the upper arms down and behnd you.

To try to work them, but not the biceps, do straight arm exercises.

On a high pulley, stand back so your arms are straight out in front, or kneel so they are overhead. Then pull down. Using a double strap attachment, you can move the hands past the hips to finish with the elbows behind you.

At one time, my bench row was about triple my bicep curl strength. I have very slim arms, but I had great rowing power from my lats.

With alot of focus. Think about only using your lats and try not to use your biceps, it's possible.

regardless of the exercise the biceps brachii is used as a dynamic stabilizer when exercising the lats using resistance training

the db pullover would stimulate the biceps very little

I'm in physio with a bicep tendonitis and shoulder bursitis so I know exactly what you are thinking.

Since it happend two weeks ago, I've been rowing and cycling twice a day .... and therapy exercises with bands since the cortesone kicked in.. but there isn't much upper body work that you can do without also using your biceps somehow. (Physio said I can start light weight training... maybe this Saturday... please say yes.)

standard lat pull down but do not bend your elbows. Arms above head pulling down. It should isolate the lats.

Why are you avoiding the biceps?

Pure shoulder extension with the elbow extended. They are like rows only standing and with a straight arm and using a pulley system.

It is very hard to use the arms and not work the arms.
