I am 12 and currently 173 lbs and I want to go back to my origional wieght of 141 lbs. If anyone knows of any good diets that I can try to use, please let me know.

First, at your age, SLEEP. Its too late to be up on the computer.

Next, get into sports and outdoor activities. Except for cutting out the junk food, do not worry about your diet. Just eat sensibly sized portions of regular, homemade, healthy food. Let nature take its course until your body matures. Just stay healthy and active. Most teenage obesity is a result of too much TV, computer, video game and text messaging time and not enough running, jumping, biking, and swimming time. And drink more water and less soda.

Try www.weightwatchers.com. I don't know if they will do anything with someone so young, but you should try. Otherwise, walk about 30 minutes a day and build up to one hour a day, and eat three servings of vegetables and two servings of fruit each day. Start meals with a bowl of soup to fill you up, and eat a salad every day. Cut out soft drinks and sweets except once a week as a treat. Cut out anything fried. Learn to cook so you can eat healthy and teach your family, too.
