Yeh, it will be safe but be warned.....it gets very itchy as it grows back, so not worth it in my opinion.

If you want to...yes, it's perfectly safe to have no pubic hair. That's not to say it's perfectly safe shaving it off. If you do it, be careful, and use lots of moisturising shaving cream. It will itch as it grows back, so you might need to keep yourself clean shaven.
Good luck!!

You can shave any hair on your body. Why would you think it wouldn't be safe? Just be careful with that razor blade! and use a non-alcoholic lotion or cream or gel on the area afterward.

Veet for sensitive areas. It will not itch like shaving. But leave a little grass on the playing field, dude. Neatly manicured is different than scorched earth.

Nope! Too great a risk of infection if you cut yourself.
That area is covered up, it's dark, moist and warm, three things bacteria love.
The infection you could get is cellulitis. It is very serious, ansometimes requires hospitalization and IV antibiotics.
If you must, use an electric razor.

why shave?
wax is more efficient, effect lasts longer, and it won't be itchy when it starts growing. Girls do that all the time, and I'm sure it's not any less painful than it would be for guys. Let a professional do it for you.

You need to be very, very careful, as nicks and cuts down there get infected easily. It's your body, and it's only hair, so it will grow back. Very silly and childish looking, and it will itch like you have fire ants in your pants, but not actually dangerous.
