I'm getting braces on thursday and I'm wondering how long it'll take for them to start shifting the teeth. Like it's on but will you see your teeth's gap closing anytime soon? Thanks.

I'm a 13 year old girl, and I'm about 5'6'' to 5'7''. I weigh around 120 pounds. I'm a size 1 or 3, but I feel fat, all the time. After I eat I feel like a whale. When I dont eat, I dont feel very fat. But its just every time I do. Am I fat? I'm not extremely muscular, but I'm fairly strong. I play basketball and tennis. Tell me honestly, am I fat? I always watch what I eat and make sure I eat healthily, and I try to work out on a regular basis.
Please tell me, am I fat? Or average? What?!
My ribs always show, but I have a tummy, and I think a lot of fat on my body.

I understand that frequent vomiting would be bad due to esophogus erosion, but how is the use of laxitives bad? I have a male friend that has some kind of bowel problem and used to have to use the restroom every couple of hours or so. He is on medication now, but still defecates approximately 6 times daily, but he's completely healthy. So that being said, how is bulimia different besides that it is self-induced?

I've recently bought a GORGEOUS pair of canvas sneakers that were hand painted and at the time i bought them slightly smaller because the ones in the larger size were already loose on my feet and i assumed the shoes would stretch (as they are canvas) so i've worn them a couple times but my toes always curl up to fit into it and sometimes my toes are bruised. I dont wear them too often but is there permanent damage to my feet if i continue to wear them?

I searched and I can't seem to find a good answer on this.

I'd like to know if somebody stopped masturbating. Preferably at least in the late teenage years. I'd like to know why you stopped, how long its been since you did it last, and how you feel now, please.

Noctural emissions will of course happen, so I am not counting them as masturbating. I'm referring to stimulating yourself while you are awake.

If you still masturbate, it is ok to answer too. I'd prefer not to hear anything sarcastic or anything about how its completely natural. The question is not whether or not masturbating is normal or good, it is entirely if somebody has stopped, why, and how they feel now.
Thanks

Hi there...thanks for reading. I'm 36 y.o. female diagnosed with fibromyalgia (constant muscle aches, fatigue, sleep problems) for 5 years. Lately I've noticed that sometimes when I eat, I start feeling even worse than usual. I have spells where I ACHE intensely, am so tired that I can hardly move, arms and legs feel like they have weights on them, and I feel as if I can't breathe. My throat doesn't close up, but my chest feels as if I just can't get enough air. My sinuses DO seem to tighten up, though. The prob. is that I can't find out if it's a certain food that does this. I'd like to see an allergist, but am a little afraid to as many doctors immediately assume a person with fibro is a complete nut or a hypochondriac and often blow them off. Fibro itself can also make other pain and symptoms seem worse. Any advice from your personal experience? BIG THANKS....winning response will receive a Nigerian Dwarf Goat wether. (Just kidding! No pun intended :)

I've recently decided I would like to become an NP. I'm stuck at a point trying to figure out what would be my best route to take. I currently go to a university that offers a nursing program. However, there is a community college nearby that I could get an LPN cheap, cheap, cheap. Would it be in my best interest to get an LPN, then transfer back for BSRN, then get my masters at the same school? OR to just change my major to nursing and get it all done at the same school?
I've been in school WAAAY too long and I need to find the most cost efficient route to take.
I would appreciate any feedback/advice on this!!!

Thanks in advance!
