what does it mean when..

a) your heart rate rising quickly (in the beginning of exercise), and then lowers (as the exercise gets more intense)
and
b) your heart rate rises slowly (as the level of exercise rises)

the initial heart rate escalation is a response to exercise then the body adapts and the heart rate slows down and then it escalates to meet the ongoing body demands, thats a guess, good luck
