I tell them I don't smoke or drink. They even think it's funny that I stay out of the sun so I don't prematurely age myself, plus I had a 2nd degree burn from the sun a few years back....

It's funny to me because they laugh and when I get older I will look better than most. I guess it is a little wierd that I am so worried about aging. I am trying to live a healthy laugh now at 19.

I hope you great people can help me...

I have an aquaintance... let's call him "Paul", and he has a HUGE head. I mean, people think "ok, it's like maybe a little bigger than normal-sized heads", but it's not. I think this thing has it's own gravitational pull going. It's freaking HUGE. Think of the biggest head you've ever seen, then think.... that it's like a molecule or something.

Anyhow, on the rare occasion that my wife and I get up North, we typically visit with "Paul", and his wife (who has a normal-sized head - see: opposites attract). The thing is, after a few beers go down, I want to slowy release crumpled napkins near his head to see if they orbit and stuff, but my wife (who also has a normal-sized head) says that doing that is insensitive, or some nonsense.

What would YOU do in such a case??

PLZ HELP!!1!!

I just applied in march for SS. I know if accepted the payments will start from the day I applied. I JUST had my doctor sign the papers that I am disabled for a minimum of 6-12 months. I haven't been able to work since Sept. 11 and he wrote on the papers that it was the first time he started treating me for my injury. Social security says you must have been unable to work at least a year or will not be able to for a year. I am wondering if since the doc stated that he started seeing me at the onset of my injury, if they will count the past 8 months AND the minimum of the next 6-12 months disabled in just determining if I qualify. I know I qualify in being disabled for the next 6-12 months. I know if accepted I will get PAID from the date I applied. But will the 8 months prior count just in determining the "must have been or will be disabled for 12 months"? The last 8 months with the following 6 months will give me 14 months so I will qualify.

hello, well summer is coming up and i want to get rid of some of my problem areas. Everyone tells me to eat a cereal for breakfast such as corn flakes or mini wheats and for lunch have a meat of some sort or the cereal again,(special k?) then for dinner have a normal dinner just watch my portions, i exercise pretty much every day and plan on shedding some of my weight by swim season.
any ideas for help? should i eat small little things spread out through the day to boost my metabolism or stick to what im doing? what worked for you? :)

Has this worked for you?
and if you do it for more than 2 weeks say 4 weeks will you lose up to 12 pounds or will you start losing the wiehgt slower?

Here's the story. My doctor wanted me to exercise. So I started going to the gym. I'd start with stretching and cardio to warm up for about 15 minutes. From there, I'd go weight lift, my preferred method of exercising, for about 30-45 minutes, or so. I'd finish with crunches and cardio to cool down. Now, people all the time are telling how good I was looking, that I must be loosing weight, even though I hadn't been telling anyone that I was working out. Three months of this go by, and I see the doctor again. She yelled at me. Despite all the progress, I gained about 25 pounds. My doctor said that there is NO WAY a woman could gain that much muscle mass in that short of time. She said I must be eating worse now that I'm exercising, but I wasn't...I was eating better!

So, what is it? Did I do something wrong that I can't figure out? Did my doctor not know what she was talking about? Or am I some kind of mutant?

Thanks in advance!

I just got a job at 7-11, and I started yesterday. I like my job, but I have to deal with so many customers. It gets tiring and it's hard to keep a smile after thousands of people. So, yesterday I started and was able to smie at every single one, but when I got hoe I learned smeone had died, and learned a close friend got into major trouble that he may not be able to get out of. So I'm pretty upset today (my second day). Anyone have suggestions on how to keep an uplifting positive attitude? I think I may just remember that I'm grateful to have a job, and remember that each person is special, and I am special, too. Also, I may just try and think of positive experiences I have had that make me smile... or what that paycheck is gonne feel like...
