Is there a tooth glue?

You have a couple of options. Since it is a temporary crown, you only need it to last until your next trip to the dentist, either for a better re-cement of the temporary or until the actual procedure (like installation of the permanent crown). If you don't put it back on, you risk the tooth moving before the final procedure, but a few hours of a crownless tooth probably won't be an issue (though you may have sensitivity to touch, air flow, temperature, etc).

1. Very quick fix: use toothpaste to put it back on until you can get back to the dentist. This may last a few hours to a few days if you avoid chewing in that area.

2. Reasonable fix: Use Fixodent or similar denture product to put the temporary crown back on. Depending on your eating/chewing habits, this might last for days.

3. Good fix at home: have your dentist give you some two-part cement to take home in single use packets. Now you can put the temporary crown back on conveniently and it should last days.

4. Go to the dentist. Most won't charge you to put it back on, and you may be able to fit in quickly between their appointments.

Remember that eating some foods (like taffy or bread or other "chewy" foods) may be more likely to cause your temporary crowns to come off.

not a good idea. go back to the dentist and have him recement the temporary crown, usually at no cost. the doctor uses a temporary cement intended for that purpose. if u try to do it, it's more work for the dentist and usually more time in the chair. if you go to the office, it will only take about 20mins.

I have a temporary crown, and the dentist told me that if it comes
off, then use toothpaste to put it back on.

The best thing to do is go back to the dentist who originally placed the crown. Since it is a temporary crown, you really don't want to affix it permanently. If you are in a bind and cannot get to the dentist right away, you can use super glue, however, you must be very careful not to get it anywhere except the crown. Also, you only get one chance, so you had better get it seated correctly on the first attempt.

The dentist who placed the temporary crown should recement it for you. Otherwise, try a little bit of Fixodent denture adhesive.

Some drug stores sell temporary bond but that is only a quick fix. You should see your dentist

Go back to the dentist that put it in for you and have him/her cement it back on. They should do it free of charge too, since it's a faulty workmanship.
