My friend dove into a too shallow swimming pool and broke his neck and is paralyzed from the neck down, i have heard that stem cell replacement therapy could help him walk again, but understand it is illegal in the usa, is there a country anywhere that would allow this? and why is it so important for the USA to keep this kind of treatment under wraps?

I went to the dentist 3 month ago and fixed all my teeth, so i don't have anything on the outside, but it still hurts. I also grind my teeth a lot, may be that influences it. What should I do?

I was sitting down yesterday and I started to feel between my chest and I felt between my breasts and there was a slight pain, similar to the pain of an ingrown hair, and then I realized that there was a small bump/lump there. I tried to squeeze it to see if it was a insect bite or something like that but now it hurts. I don't know what this could be from. I never had a baby so I am not breastfeeding or anything and my period should be coming in a few weeks. Please help me! I am really worried because I don't exactly know what it is, but hopefully it isn't something that needs serious attention. I am still young, I just turned 18, is this normal or something I should get checked out right away? Thanks

I've heard that ads for test subjects are put up in colleges and stuff because college students need money. A teacher of mine told a story about how her roommate got paid to host a tapeworm and loose weight. What is the term for jobs like this? How do I sign up to be a test subject and how do I find jobs like this in my area?

I'm a 29 year old female, standing at 5'0 and weighing 115. I had a baby 10 months ago and haven't worked out yet since then. I'd like to lose 10 pounds and flatten my stomach along with lose some fat from my thighs. Also, tone everything.
This is what I'm doing daily 4-5 times a week:

20 minutes on my Gazelle in the AM
200 crunches in the AM or PM
40 minutes of Tae-Bo Cardio in the PM

I'm also watching my calorie intake and making sure I'm burning more than I'm taking in.
I started this workout almost 2 weeks ago.
Is this enough to get toned in 2 months?

A family member had a laparoscopy and some adhesions removed in day surgery. At home there was increased pain, discomfort, and shortness of breath. The GP gave pain relief but it worsened still so 9 days post surgery they returned to the Gp who sent her to hospital. They found peritonitis (a perforation of the colon from the laparoscopy) which can be potentially fatal. Luckily it was not but it led to major emergency surgery, a 10 inch wound, a catheter in hospital, a nasal tube, a drain, oxygen, and 13 mights in hospital. She also has a (hopefully temptorary depending on recovery) ileostomy (stoma) for 3-6 months. She is now at home but has an infection in the wound (awaiting results from hospital swab). Is the initial surgeon negligable, ot the GP post lapaoscopy? The emergency surgeon said it was defintitely a result of the laparoscopy and demanded an apology. It has been a very traumatic time for all and has resulted in a big loss of confidence and long recovery period.

I was wondering if I take it out now will it heal up faster. I know I won't be able to put it back in. Or would it be better to wait until the swelling goes down and it heals, then take it out? I know it was stupid to get it done in the first place. But I had it done before and it closed up and I thought that I wanted it done again. But now it is just getting on my nerves so I am considering taking it out.

My average diet is as follows:
Breakfast: Muesli with yogurt/All bran flakes and skimmed milk
Lunch: A cooked meal with meat and veggies and rice/patatoes
Supper: Something light>toast with cheese with a fruit salad/ fish with patatoe/chicken and rice with veggies

In between meals I snack on fruit, yogurt, snackbars, fruit, raw veggies, juice, chocolate, biscuits

I drink plenty of water(boiled then cooled down) in between meals.

Why don't I go to the loo? (to no2?)

I'v changed my diet so many times (have this problem for 2 years now) and don't believe in taking laxatives-Please give me advise

Getting vitamins by perscription only, that's
what the FDA is wanting to put in effect.

Learn How the Pharmaceutical Industry & the FDA
are Endangering Your Health for Profit.

When you are sick it is highly profitable to various giant corporations.
When you are well, it doesn't profit them much at all.

(Please note that at times drugs are
necessary and helpful, some can be
effectively treated without drugs or
surgery.)

This tells me that people are very successful
treating their selves or the pharmaceutical
companies wouldn't feel so threatened
