I was wondering if I take it out now will it heal up faster. I know I won't be able to put it back in. Or would it be better to wait until the swelling goes down and it heals, then take it out? I know it was stupid to get it done in the first place. But I had it done before and it closed up and I thought that I wanted it done again. But now it is just getting on my nerves so I am considering taking it out.

Take it out, let it heal, and consider it a lesson learned.
If it is very painful, or feels hot, it is infected, and you might need a prescription for antibiotics from a doctor.
If its not too bad yet, rinse your mouth/tongue with warm salty water a few times a day to prevent infection/speed healing.

If its bothering you because of the size of the piercing thats because they give you a large bar to make room for the swelling... so if you want to wait till the swelling goes down and get a smaller bar you can do that or if you just no longer want it you can take it out and just take proper care of the hole as usual... it should heal faster since you dont have the bar in it keeping the hole open... But if you have had it done twice I would think about why you had it done again and what reasons you have for keeping it...

You can take it out now if you want, just keep doing sea salt soaks for a week or so. The swelling might go down a bit sooner, but I wouldn't count on it.

May I suggest that you remove it immediately. Rinse your mouth open with a solution of 1/2 salt water (saline) and 1/2 peroxide.
This will minimize the risk of infection.

I'm really sorry, but why the heck did you do this really dumb thing again? Clearly, it was something to which you were not sincerely committed. Definitely, take it out and let it heal again and then leave it alone. Jeez.
