I'm 12 years old. and about 4"11 or 4"10. i weigh 127.5 pounds. i excersise, eat healthy. every wednesday i play tennis for a hour and a half. i play tennis and swim on the weekends. wht am i doing wrong? can someone please give me advice to lose weight?

12 years old? Why are you so worried? You're only 12, you're not done growing yet! You'll still grow a few inches and you way 127.5! I wish I could weigh that! Don't worry!

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
dont try to lose more than 1-2lbs a week - its not healthy to lose more.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried - no junk food.

i think if you are 4 foot 10 and 12 years old you shouldnt be stressing over your weight.. you are active if what you say is true,
WHY DO YOU WANT TO BE SKINNY.
Is it to impress your friends.
please dont become one of those body obsessed girls who are as skinny as a rake.
It plays havoc with your fertilty and there are other problems it causes. look in the mirror and see that you have some attractive features. stop being overly critical of your body. you are just starting puberty and your body wil develop as it should its a god given gift. dont abuse it.

Your doing right. I am fat before too. I weighed 130 lbs but with good diet and exercise, I lost 14 lbs. Breakfast is very important. You need to take breakfast. And I really limit my carbo to the lowest extent.

You can lose weight by not eating starch foods. It can help because my mom lost 10 lbs in a week by not eating starch and oily foods.

That's good for you. health conscious in an early age, But try not beat your self up, enjoy for now your still a kid there's a lot of time for you.
