Fibromyalgia is inflammation of the muscle, tendons, caused in part by 'trigger points' being activated. Almost like pushing a button and bang. Therefore if you can stop the button from being pushed, you will not have the bang. Treat yourself to a mattress topper, sleep on it as it will help to stop the trigger points being triggered. Likewise you do not say what part of the body, but for example if it is shoulder blade, make sure you are not 'carrying' a shoulder bag, as that will rub against the trigger point. Disturbed sleep is the cause, or should I state abnormal sleep rhythm, therefore if you see the Doctor ask him for help, muscle relaxants and anti calm drugs help me, along with the mattress topper.
