What is the difference between Hydrocodone & Oxycodone?? I was prescribed generic percocet(oxycod) and told the doc. that they kept me up at night, so he prescribed me generic vicoden(hydrocodone) whats the difference?

I want to purchase a body fat calculating scale for around 40.00. My choices are the healthometer breast cancer awareness body fat scale or the healthometer body fat scale. Which one would you recommend? [I realize that they aren't the most accurate way to measure body fat, but I want to get a good idea at where I am and how much I change] Thanks!

I have postural hypotension but my doctor didn't tell me much since he wants to do some more tests (echocardiogram et 48 hour holter monitor) What some things I can do to help my dizzy spells and syncope? Can anyone give me some causes of this condition?

I am having a bit of an 'issue' with my chest area. My back has been hurting, and I have been shopping around for a dress that has been very discouraging, because nothing fits me. It looks really gross to me how big I am, and especially for how young I am. My mom is going to send me to the doctor to talk about getting a reduction. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? I'm a little worried, I WANT to have the procedure done, because of how I will change in the outcome, but I HATE doctors. Anyone know what the reduction process will entail?

used to smoke 1 pack + a day.
week 1, tried cold turkey, got down to 5 a day
week 2, began using the patch, down to 1-2 a day.
both methods seem to be working their way to 0, however, I am very crabby. i don't want quitting to have this negative effect on my husband and kids being the butt of my outbursts. how can i avoid/control these?
(no info on smoking w/ patch being dangerous, i am aware, and without it, i wouldn't have made the progress, thanks please!)

I don't have money. I don't have a car, I have to wait for my mom for two more hours, right it's 2:00pm she'll come 5:00pm. I didn't eat the whole day.

Ok I'm going to try to explain this as best I can. Basically, for example, when I'm at work and I have to do physical work like putting paperwork away and I dont have it planned out in my head exactly how it has to be done (like which way the paperwork gets put back), I get confused and disoriented and my mind wanders off for a second and its like a brain fart for a lack of a better term. I have had seizures in the past as well. Could this be the cause of this or something else? Thanks for all of your help.

did anyone suspect they had cancer before they were diagnosed. i am convinced i am riddled with it but i wont tell a doctor i think this because i am sure he thinks i am a hypocondriac. i am unwell all the time. but dont have a tempreture. infact all tests show perfect results. but i feel terrible and with time i am feeling worse. and i feel like my body is trying to warn me that somethings badly wrong. and i find it tough to ignor this.

Ok ive been working out for 4 months and have lost 20 pounds! Yipee i want to start at a high intensity level now and take it to the next level.....im not big on running but can jog fairly smooth.....i know they say running is the fastest way to lose weight but can you jog for 3-4 miles and still get the same results? Im really curious about this question...if i run i am breathless after 5 mins!!! If i jog also will i eventually be able to run for 3-4 miles straight? do i have to work up to it? please answer thanks have a great day!!

I'm currently taking Darvocet for a bulging disc in my back and each pill has 650mg of acetaminophen in it!!! Now, I only need them when I am working my other job because I wait tables at night and the lifting and bending is bothersome and I usually need 2 to get rid of the pain. Now, suppose I want a drink after work like I often do. My poor liver!!!! Now, we all know that we take pain killers for the narcotic in them, right? Has anyone gotten rid of their pain with tylenol alone? Damn, tylenol won't even get rid of a headache for me. It's practically useless as far as I'm concerned.

So, what's the point of putting so much of it in painkillers? Is it simply to make sure drug addicts don't go crazy on it like they do with Oxycoctin? Does tylenol alone actually work for anybody? And If I take 2 darvocets at a time, will it kill me eventually?
