for a grown male, it takes 1700 calories to live (he would burn them if he stayed in bed and didnt more all day. moving requires energy so the fats are burnt up that way. they are a slow release energy.

Well just because its fat it doesn't mean that it will make you fat. When it comes down to it, everything we eat is digested into simple sugars and unused energy is stored as fat in the body. Youre gonna burn calories even if you don't exercise but it is healthier to get your heart rate up a few times a week.
Exercise more to lose weight, eat more to gain weight. Just don't stop eating lol. thats not too healthy

dietary fats are need for the proper function of the human biology, they are used for many biological functions and the production of various hormones.
no less than 20% of the daily calories should be derived from fats for women. for optimum testosterone production males should not consume much less than 30% fats. consuming fat in the diet does not make a person fat but a lack of fats in the diet have adverse effects on the metabolism and many biological functions.
consuming less than 20% fat in the diet is the single best way to decrease test production for both men and women. when on a reduced caloric intake and rigorous exercise routine it's a very good way to lose a lot of muscle mass

Don’t finish every last morsel with your plate, but leave a mouthful or perhaps two. This clever little strategy means your host doesn’t offer you to refill your plate, and you also don’t feel tempted to choose seconds.
