It doesn't hurt. It is more of an annoying feeling. You might have one or two with a little skin overgrowth on it that might pinch a bit, but is not bad. I usually take mine out myself whenever I have surgery or something, so it can't be that bad because I don't like to inflict pain on myself.

The last time I got stitches removed was about 16 years ago... I was 7 and I had stitches in my ear. From what I remember it did not hurt at all. (And I am a big weenie when it comes to stuff like this). Just relax and keep calm. It only takes a second and it will be over with before you know it!

No, it does not hurt at all. I had both type of stitches, the staples type and the string types, and both of them didn't hurt at all, so don't worry about it.

No where near as bad as when they put them in. In most cases all you feel is when they pull the last one out. Do not know why that is but that is the way it is. They will be out before you know it!
