I'm 26 yo and I'm not really fat but in the past couple of months I've gained like 15 lbs. I wanna look hot again for when summer roles by. My cholesterol is also a bit high and I need to lower it. What's the best diet for me? What kind of exercises should I do?

One year ago I went to the doctor because I had a serious thirst problem. I took a blood test and everything came back negative except my cholesterol was a little high. It was 206? This past month I still feel a discomfort in my jaw. It feels like pressure. It might be my wisdom teeth. I'm not sure.

Anyway, I've also been feeling this feeling in my chest. It feels like pressure and pain. When I feel very sad, I feel it even more. I haven't been able to sleep a normal schedule for over a month now. Sometimes I get 2 hours of sleep at night. Sometimes 3. Sometimes 5. I sleep during the day as well. Last night I came home after being verbally abused by my girlfreind. I took a really hot shower to relax. When I got into bed, my heart was beating extremely fast and wouldn't slow down for about 20 minutes. i can hear it beating in my head. What's wrong with me? Am I gonna get a heart attack at the age of 26? Or am I severely depressed? Or both?HELP

I contracted an STD during childhood due to abuse. When doctors see the medication on my file, they often raise their eyebrows or get very off-ish. When I go to buy the medication, the sales people and pharmasists will get a real attitude problem, and start treating me rudely. Sometimes, especially if they are young guys they laugh. Its hard enough to deal with having it and knowing how I got it without this extra humiliation.
It seems to happen no matter what pharmacy I use.
What should I do???? I stopped taking it but just got sick and stressed and that made it worse.

oh kay so i have been cutting for about three months. and some people found out they got really mad and now i have nobody to talk to. i HATE counclers so that wont help. i would go to my dance coach but she is mad cuz i went to dance after o.ding adn passed out. my best friend wont talk to me cuz i promised i would stop and i didnt. i really want a hug or someone to turn to.

After going to get a pedicure a few months ago, i started getting this really bad itch on my left big toe. It began to swell just a little bit and now there are sores. Theres many of them all around the big toe but it doesnt seem to spread. Does anyone know what it might be ? Thanks

My only symptoms are urinating often, and my vision is blurred only a little... I'm really scared at the possibility to be honest, but I'm just wondering, do these symptoms mean that I definitly have diabetes?

I'm still going to check, but until I get to the doctor's office, I won't know, I really need some support, I won't be able to get to my doctor until next week... I made an appointment already.

Is walking a good enough exercise to lose weight? I am the only one in my family with weight problems. I really want to start being healthier as i am terrified of getting diabetes (i gain all my weight on my stomach). I lost weight when i was like 15, now i am 21 and i cant. I cut back and stopped snacking, and in the winter walked on the treadmill for at least 30 minutes a day. After a month or so i was still the same. Anyone have any suggestions? I gave up, but i am determined to now. I am hoping to maybe drop around 40lbs by July....is that unreasonable?

I am 20 years old and am searching for a comfortable type of contact lenses. I have an astigmatism in one eye, and have suffered corneal damage in the other (from what I would really like to know, I wore contacts only about once a month). I have tried so so so many different kinds of contacts, all of them turned uncomfortable after a short period of time and sometimes I can't focus well with them. Is there a certain type/brand I should try that might actually work for my eyes?? Has anyone else had this problem??? Oh and my eyes are very senstive. Thanks.

My 11 year old sounds horrible when she's asleep. It sounds like she's having trouble breathing.She doesnt stop breathing though. She does have allergies but nothing too serious. I am thinking of recording her and showing it to the doctor to see if its normal. Any ideas on what else I could try?

My last girlfriend after we had been having sex for a more than a couple of months that she had genital herpe's.She said she did not think it was any big deal that she had not told me this before we had sex.I was devestated that the woman i was in love with could do this to me and have no problem with it.She said that everyone "pretty much" had herpe's these days and that it was no big deal.I was in love with her and reconciled what I saw as a shortcoming in her with myself.Later when she broke yp with me I was also devestated especially when I started getting these pimple like blood blister things.Now i dont feel like i can date anyone and I am sure she is continuing her practice of not telling people she is in contact with of her affliction.Id this right?Isn't their some kind of a public health rule that says you must not knowinlgly expose someone to a communicable disease with out informing them?
I am hurt devestated and lonely
