My sister had a blood test a week ago because he joints had been swelling up a lot and the Dr wanted to rule out arthritis. She got a letter in the post yesterday saying to go for another blood test. She went this morning but the nurse told her she shouldn't have come yet as she has to have the blood test in another 3 to 4 weeks. She didn't say anything else just to come back then. Any ideas why?

Couldn't reply to my orginal post but apparently all the nurse said is she has significantly raised platelets. What does this mean? She been getting swelling on her joints which hurt a lot. The first blood test checked everything, this time she has to have a full blood count and something else which I can't remember. Thanks for your help

yea this kinda sounds stupid and like i am trying to tell people i am strong or suptin but......when i was a little girl my dad would beat me for everything everything i did was wrong he didnt love me he made me do everything for him he wasnt the kinda dad that loves u and adores u and doesnt want anything to happen he was totally the opposite he hated me!....and i was rapped 2 times....and all the pain and beatings i took make me want to give everyone else the same pain i know how to have fun and i am nice at times but my temper goes up so easy and i have already goten into trouble with fighting 4 times this month but thats just the times i got caught by the cops....and when i fight i feel like i just won all the mmoney in the world!....i know i might sound scyho or sumptin but i'm not i really know how to have fun...but i am never happy either i can smile when i want to cry and i can have fun when i want to die with me and the beatings i took gets my temper high!someone help

I had my endo removed in 05. I had my baby at the end of 06. He is now 5 months. I only breastfeed and have not had a period. I am having the same pain i felt before my endo was removed. Is it possible for it to be back. Could it be IC?

Do you sometimes have the feeling that you are going to explode?
at the moment I am studying very very hard for my exams. I didn't passed twice (and I studied hard too) Now I have to do it. I am totally soaked into study. Ok I sport every week but now I have the feeling in my chest that I can't manage it any longer. I am going to react myself at myself. (damage and so) I still try to supress these feelings but it is getting too hard now.

can you give me some tips to make me feel more comfortable and give my inner rest back please.

and study is the most important now (always been) but after I pass I am going to study Biotechnology, I am leaving the house etc. I am really looking forward to that!!

Last week i got a nasty cold, and now i can't smell, taste or barely hear anything. First my nose got all plugged up, that has pretty much gone away. But for the past 4 days my ears have been plugged and it is like i am hearing everything from far away. Also i can't taste anything, only sweet and everything sweet tastes the same.
My question is should i go to the doctor for this or will it clear up on it's own? I lost my job due to the company closing so i have no income and no insurance right now. Any help anyone can give me would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

I have PCOS(polycystic ovarian syndrome) and I haven't had my period since October. There is NO chance that I am pregnant. I would like to know if there is a natural/herbal way to bring on my period. Well i'm 17 years old and wanted to know how long it takes hair to grow back from chemo. that has been the hardest thing for me to deal with during this time. maybe it's just me but i feel like being blad is just screaming "i have cancer show me sympathy". i just dont want to be noticed and have people asking "what wrong with me". well back to my origanal question. does anyone know how long it takes to grow back in?
