I have PCOS(polycystic ovarian syndrome) and I haven't had my period since October. There is NO chance that I am pregnant. I would like to know if there is a natural/herbal way to bring on my period. I can't get in to see my gyn until June and I want to ask for the pill to regulate my periods, but first I need to actually get it..

There is no natural treatment that can bring on a period that I'm aware of but check the boards over at http://www.pcosupport.org to see if there might be some info there.

If you do find anything get in touch with your gyn to find out if it is safe for you to take.

i have never actually known anything that brings on your period.
the only thing maybe i could suggest is some hot baths but that's really only a slight chance of something happening.

you need to see a doctor for this. notify the md who is prescribing the metformin. they should be able to get you in before 3 months. BTW, PCO is not treated by diet
