well- unless it's an infection antibiotics won't do a thing. people always take too many antibiotics when they don't need them. if you've been taking them for years then your body has probably adjusted to them and now when you really need them they won't help.
aside from that--SEE A DOCTOR!

My first suggestion when a person has joint or bone pain is to suggest a Chiropractor for an adjustment. It is a good place to start. This is a good way to fix it or eliminate a solution.
Sometimes if a nerve is pinched in the low back the pain will radiate down the leg.
Give it a try, it isn't too expensive and it could just repair the problem.
Have you had xrays to look at the hip bone in the area?
Good luck on finding a solution.

I have also had the same. Not always but often when i do a lot of bending. It is very very painful . I use muscle relaxers when that happens and it helps. I also use Arthro choice it consists of Glucosamine Sulphate , Chondroitin Sulphate, enzymes, msm and Omega-3. It helps to preserve and rebuild joint cartilage and found that it helps. Maybe you should try it . I know just how you feel but try it and you will see an improvement. :)))

Could be the joint - the hip joint wears out after so many years.
Hence why older people get hip replacements.

it could be a pinched nerve. I have had this same problem in the past. I would go see a chiropractor.
