i have the same thing going on, mostly on my thighs, forearms, and abdomen. i heard they're hereditary usually in obese families. or sometimes they can be caused from trauma to the muscle like if you played football in high school. i was in martial arts for 10 years, and was getting kicked and punched all the time. so i think when your muscle is hit it reacts by accumulating cells at the injured area and it creates a small lump?, which i guess continues to accumulate over time. i dont know. but you can have them surgically removed, so i am going to have a few taken off before the summer. but yeah, they're nothing to worry about they just look bogus as f.u.c.k

if they are little white dots or like white head things it is nothing to worry about as it has something to do with hair growth but if they ever change or hurt go 2 a doctor (my husband had these to so dont stress to much!

I wouldn't worry as long as my doctor says not to. I mean he is qualified and trained to make such assessments, so follow his advice and relax!!
