I had my endo removed in 05. I had my baby at the end of 06. He is now 5 months. I only breastfeed and have not had a period. I am having the same pain i felt before my endo was removed. Is it possible for it to be back. Could it be IC?

Pregnancy and breastfeeding are not cures for Endometriosis. It is absolutely possible - and highly likely - that the disease is recurring. As for IC, as someone else stated, the two are considered "Evil Twins" in the gynecology sector. You'll definitely want to discuss the situation with your physician to see what your next treatment/possible diagnostic steps are. Good luck and feel better.

Yes, it is very possible for the endo to be back. And because it's been about 2 years since you had your endo cleaned out it sounds like it might be back.
As for IC it's possible. About 80% of women with endo also have IC. Endo and IC are the evil twins. They are called this because they have some very similar symptoms.
I would recommend getting in touch with your dr to have this evaluated.
