when it is dry and it touches water it burns!! also brushing my teeth is also a pain in the a$$. i had it a few times before too but it came back. is it because i eat to much hot stuff like.. oil, chocolate, chips.

i cut myself and i really need to stop.
one of them has already scarred.
this is only the 3rd time i have done it but i cut my ex-boyfriends name and i'm afraid it won't go away. it is also bathing suit season which sucks because then everyone will see it. What should i do?

As of late, my nails (both toe and finger) plus my hair seem to be growing faster than ever before. Im having to have hair cuts every one and a half weeks just to stay smart, plus my finger nails seem to need trimming after only three days. Any uber medical boffins out there know of an explanation?

i was living with my aunti for a couple of months and she has full blown AIDS. we got into a fight one night while we were drinking and i thought everything was cool well i woke up that morning and i had a small cut on my arm well i didnt think n othing of it @ 1st but then i saw a cut on her, usually i wouldnt think of it but she is *a little derannged* and i love my life ya kno well im a very vocal person bout hiv/aids and i get tested usually once a year /or when i have a new partner. well i got tested a couple of weeks ago and i should get the results on april 5 but im really stressing n i never stressed like this bout gettin any hiv/results b4. i jus needed support i guess but please sum 1 help me with this bc im evening starting to thbink i have sum symtems and i kno it usually takes a good while for them to show .

Hey. I try and eat as much as I can. I don;t eat loads, but eat as much as an athlete, yet I am painfully thin. I tried weights and bought all that protein stuff, for several months, with no effect.

I am 6ft tall and only weigh 10 stones, my waist is probably 30 or 28 inches. I would not mind getting fat as that makes it easier to put on muscle, but can't even manage that. Kind of pissed off in a way. I am trying my hardest to put on weight and get jokes that I look anorexic.

I drink a lot and smoke a lot, but if anything drinking a lot should help me put on weight not make me look like a smack head.

Being in this shape makes me mad with people trying to lose weight. Here I am all skin and bone and others are stuffing themselves. So easy for them to turn that fat into muscle but I am screwed as I can't seem to develop and extra muscle even after working out for months.

I did not have a period for 6 months, then got my period, and now I've been bleeding for 4 months. I know I should go to a doctor but Im afraid they will want to put me on birth control to regulate my periods and I know that the pill causes blood clots.

like for instance one time she took 30 at one time and 10 like 5 times and random amounts over 10 about 8 times. all the pills were 200 mg . she doesnt do it anymore but could this of hurt her in the longrun? she used to never get sick either but lately she has so i told her maybe her liver isnt working right??

I'm 25, been sitting in the office for the past 3 years, this is probably the cause. But anyways, my neck's been making cracking sound and feeling uncomfortable since half a year ago. It hurts and my muscles are obviously really tight.

Soon the cracking sound reduced, but it hurts just as much, and when I turn my head, even my teeth seem to hurt. A friend of mine is really scaring me by saying that neck bone problems may lead to serious issues and my whole body may one day become disabled!!!

I need to see a doctor, someone suggested getting an MRI screening done. I have PPO plan with my company, $20 copay and $250 annual deductible, it says 20% negociated fee after annual deductible.

I have two questions.

1. What type of doctor should I be seeing?
2. How much do I expect to pay, roughly (with my $20 copay and $250 annual deductible, it says 20% negociated fee after annual deductible.)

Sorry I'm really new to this, I've never seen a doc since age 13, THANX!!!!!

Why is it that everytime I take a shower, when I come out, dry myself and either go to sleep or get dress. My skin(especially my arms and legs) gets very ashy and dry? It doesn't look and feel comfortable.

What can I do to prevent that? My friends do the same thing, and they don't even put on lotion, yet their skin is smoother and doesn't dry up. I don't take HOT showers, but I don't take cold showers either. I put it in the middle.

I'm a male, 17 years old.

she is having absolutely no withdrawel symptoms except for the last 12 hours or so she has been seeing flying saucers and space creatures with tentacles, she is very detailed in her descriptions, but no other symptoms of DT's, otherwise she seems to be completely normal, she can hold a conversation, eat, cook, and right now she is working crossword puzzles. I have so far been agreeing with her to a certain extent, telling her that they will probably leave sometime tonight when it is dark and nobody can see them and they should be gone by morning. Is this the right thing to do? she will not go to the hospital and will absolutely not consider an in- treatment program as she has tried that in the past and hated it and it did no good because she would not do the follow up work. I think this time she is serious to kick this on her own with help from me and another friend. Are we doing the right thing? And one more bit of info. she has positively no access to alcohol until we allow it,.
