My 23 year old unmarried sister has been having her menses continuously for the past 15 days. She had undertaken a two day bus journey just before her periods started. She has also been under stress in her office. Please advise. Is it ok

I have to scrape my lips two or three times a day to remove this layer of gunk. I usually wipe it on the underside of my shirt, because I've noticed that when it dries it looks like dried up skin. How is this happening and what can I do to prevent it or control it?

I think it's gross when I try to drink from a glass and leave my lip gunk on the rim of the glass, especially on a date.

It is hard for a person who has chronic pain to find transportation that does not inflect more pain. I use an electric wheelchair and that makes transportation extremely difficult. Two of the transportation services here are so bumpy that my body is in so much pain by the time I get to the doctor I am in tears. The third transportation has denied me for unjust reasons. My question is, would a shrink think that I just did not want help if I refused to use the transportation that is availbale? Ouch.

OK..i have like pains in my left arm, my back/shoulder, and in my neck... they're kinda like sharp pains and they come and go i think it might be a pinched nerve but the doctor isn't helping any. My arm will get tired really easy and i get these wierd feelings in my head...i don't know maybe i'm going crazy or something but my jaw will start hurting with it also, it's been going on for about a month..any ideas????

I have an overwhelming desire to try drugs...I know a few people who sell drugs, so I can get them if I want to...but I dont want to get really addicted...I just want to try them...mainly all I want to try is pills...any pills...I had some hydrocodone after I got my four wisdom teeth cut out and it helped the pain..alot...and I want some more. Would it really hurt anything for me to try some different pills?

The hypnosis tape was given to me. I started to listen to it but there was whispering in the background. Would you listen to a tape that has whispering in it but you cannot hear the words that are whispered? You could be being brainwashed and not know it.Would you listen to the whole tape?

Our kid is a good kid. She has always been a good kid.

She's 12 and lives with her Dad and me during the week - and Mom on most weekends & holidays.

I don't get along with her Mom very well. I try very hard - but there has been some friction lately - as our ideas about raising a kid are VERY different.

Today it became clear that she's been lying - a lot - about homework. I talked with her on the phone and said we would meet with her teacher - and she was very upset.

Later I called back to check in with her - and asked what was up - and she said that her thumb hurt. I asked why - and she told me she'd cut it with the scissors. I asked her what she was cutting - "Dad's birthday card" ? And she said - yes. But after I thought about it - that seemed unlikely.

She was sexually molested by her Mom's boyfriend for about a year from 8 - 9. She did a year of intense counseling - & has seemed to be doing ok.

Could this be cutting? How do we know - and what do we do?

I am leaving to see my boyfriend in NY this Thursday that I only get to see every couple of months and I am supposed to get my period any day now. It was supposed to start on the 25-26th but hasnt come yet. I only get to see him for 7 days and I am worried most of the time I will be on my damn period which sucks!!!! I have yasmin pills that I havent started yet. Could I start them now to delay my period from coming or at least shorten it or should I wait until it comes and do a day "1" start and hope it shortens it A LOT! PLEASE HELP!

I don't know why, but it just has always freaked me out. I've never actually known twins, but whenever i see two of them together, i just start freaking out. and I have never been afraid of anything, not even death, but it's just something aobut twins that gets to me. It only happens when I see both of them together. I would get like help, but i'm so embarrased. how can i get rid of this phobia?

Quad stretches before jogging are very difficult for me because Ithey give me a charley-horse cramp in the back of the thighs. Why am I getting these cramps? What can I do to prevent these cramps? Is there another exercise for me to stretch quads that wouldn't be so severe?

I'm and 18 year old guy who really has been looking to lose a bit of weight and get into shape for awhile now. I'm not egotistical or anything but I think of myself as one of those guys who if I could just drop 20 or 30 and tone up I would be a decent looking guy LOL.

My problem is that

1) I don't have much money. My dad is willing to get me a gym membership sometime next month but I'm really wanting to start now. And I have no means of transportation during the day so I would have to take the bus/walk there

2) As far as dieiting goes this is a rough spot. I don't cook and my mom does. While she can cook healthy I would feel like a jerk making my parents change their habits for me, or making her cook separate things for me.

I was thinking of going vegetarian because my friend was my weight and he did that and in a year he lost a ton of weight with excercise (Mostly just walking) and looks good now.

I'm also trying to do this by/during this summer. Thanks for any help.

well im only 15 and my eye sight is perty bad already. i had heard that the younger you do lasik the more chance its gonna be permanent, because it heals better and when your old it might go back to its original degree. so any suggestions from people whove done this? and any other info on lasik can will be appreciated
