Aspirin is a drug with many beneficial effects. First it is a good analgesic/pain reliever as well as it prevents platelet aggregation, making youe blood thinner preventing the development of stroke. It is also a drug used for patients with heart problem (MI or angina) and peripheral arterial disease because of it's anti-clotting mechanism. Its usual dosage is 30-80 mg/day. Its adverses effect If taken in excess, it will usually cause hyperacidity and GI upset, that is why it must be taken after meals.

Asprin has a property to prevent blood from clotting,thus blood flow will be easy and smooth,however asprin in low dose 100mg per day is good for cardiac patients who had history of stroke.

when taken daily it pretty much just thins out your blood to prevent clotting...probably keeps your pain rate down too!!
