Hemorrhoids can develop from any increase in pressure in the veins in the lower rectum. Common sources of pressure and hemorrhoid causes include:

1. Constipation and the accompanying straining
2. Diarrhea and the continuous expulsion of loose stools
3. Sitting or standing for a long time, especially sitting on the toilet
4. Obesity
5. Pregnancy and childbirth

It's also possible to inherit a tendency to develop hemorrhoids.

A common cause of hemorrhoids is simply the standing position, in which all the blood above the rectum exerts pressure on the rectal and anal areas. Other conditions which contribute to hemorrhoids are: poor bowel habits, constipation, diarrhea, pregnancy, obesity, and especially frequent straining when having a bowel movement. However, some patients will have none of these conditions and still develop hemorrhoids. Humans are prone to hemorrhoids because erect posture puts a lot of pressure on the veins in the anal region. Heredity has also been considered a factor, since hemorrhoids tend to run in families. Chronic constipation is considered a major cause of hemorrhoids. This is because constipated individuals tend to consistently strain to evacuate their bowels, increasing pressure in the rectum. Disturbance from frequent bowel movements associated with diarrhea can also be a cause. Additionally, frequent use of laxative may result in diarrhea, and increase your likelihood of getting hemorrhoids. Increased abdominal pressure can often encourage hemorrhoids. People who exert themselves strenuously at work or who stand for long periods of time are most often afflicted. Pregnancy is a common cause of hemorrhoids among young women. They are most common in the final trimester because there is increased pressure from the enlarged uterus. Constipation, also common during pregnancy, adds to the problem. Other factors that encourage hemorrhoids include lack of physical activity and a low daily intake of fluids.

It is not known why hemorrhoids enlarge. There are several theories about the cause, including inadequate intake of fiber, prolonged sitting on the toilet, and chronic straining to have a bowel movement (constipation). None of these theories has strong experimental support. Pregnancy is a clear cause of enlarged hemorrhoids though, again, the reason is not clear. Tumors in the pelvis also cause enlargement of hemorrhoids by pressing on veins draining upwards from the anal canal.

One theory proposes that it is the shearing (pulling) force of stool, particularly hard stool, passing through the anal canal that drags the hemorrhoidal cushions downward. Another theory suggests that with age or an aggravating condition, the supporting tissue that is responsible for anchoring the hemorrhoids to the underlying muscle of the anal canal deteriorates. With time, the hemorrhoidal tissue loses its mooring and slides down into the anal canal.

One physiological fact that is known about enlarged hemorrhoids that may be relevant to understanding why they form is that the pressure is elevated in the anal sphincter, the muscle that surrounds the anal canal and the hemorrhoids. The anal sphincter is the muscle that allows us to control our bowel movements. It is not known, however, if this elevated pressure precedes the development of enlarged hemorrhoids or is the result of the hemorrhoids. Perhaps during bowel movements, increased force is required to force stool through the tighter sphincter. The increased shearing force applied to the hemorrhoids by the passing stool may drag the hemorrhoids downward and enlarge them.

I've been suffering from hemorrhoids for many years. I was simply just too embarrassed to go to a doctor or to the pharmacy to ask for a hemorrhoid treatment. In the end I went to a doctor that tried to do everything in her power to help me, but unfortunately the medication didn't work. Surgery was out of the question! At that point, I was helpless, embarrassed and with almost no social life, so I've decided to try something else. Until I found the information on this site http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=412

I bought this book on how to get rid of hemorrhoids naturally ad it helped me a lot! I don't feel pain anymore!

I wish I had it years ago. I can't believe how quickly I got relief (almost overnight!) they've never returned and I don't worry about it anymore because if they do, I know exactly what to do.

After reading the book and taking action in 48 hours the pain, irritation, itching and bleeding was gone. To my surprise I was able to permanently cure my hemorrhoids 100% naturally

Hemorrhoids are basically engorged veins. The veins return the blood to the heart and those from the lower parts of the body work against gravity to push blood back to the heart. When the blood becomes thicker due to one's lack of water intake, the blood gets pooled in the veins because blood is more difficult to flow. This causes them to get engorged and become bigger. If this happens in the rectal area, it becomes hemorrhoids. In other areas it is called varicose veins

I can guarantee that I solved my hemorroids problems with this method: http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=412

It's definitly the best way to easily get rid of hemorrhoids

I really hope it helps.

Childbirth

Constipation,(pushing to hard to move your bowels)

Heavy lifting (if you put too much pressure in that area)

To avoid hemorrhoids, you should eat allot of foods with fiber, and drink at least 10 glasses of water a day. However this only pertains if your hemorrhoids are from constipation.

Have a good day, and hope "everything comes out all right"

Hemorrhoids are associated with constipation and straining at bowel movements. How to get rid of hemorrhoids https://tr.im/yFmkW
Pregnancy is also associated with hemorrhoids. These conditions lead to increased pressure within the hemorrhoidal veins that causes them to swell. Other conditions, for example chronic liver disease, may also cause increased venous pressure and may be associated with hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids are very common and are estimated to occur in up to one-half of the population by age 50.
