Sounds like allergies. Hubby was feeling same way. So was going to take antibiotics. Instead I talked him into taking an antihistamine and next morning he says, "you were right, it's just allergies" Since you do not have a fever I'd bet it's not a cold.

Best to you.

Are you sure it's a cold? It could very well be allergies. it's that time of year again. The main difference between having a cold or an allergic reaction to pollen, dust etc is the length of time you experience symptoms(which are exactly the same for both afflictions by the way). If you're going through this for a week then it's a cold. Anything longer and it's an allergic reaction to something. Your doctor can help you realize what you may be allergic to through a series of simple tests. Also, there are a number of over the counter products to relieve allergy symptoms, but the best one I've ever used is available by prescription only. Singulair (e). I'm not exactly sur how it's spelled but it works like a charm for me, my wife and our two year old.

The best thing that i have found is to take a couple of cold and flu tablets as you feel the flu coming on, night ones work the best. Also a hot lemmon drink to sip at is good for this!!
