I recently (jan 20th) had a c-section and afterwards a good portion of my stomach near the incision was numb. I know that part is normal, but recently the skin has been peeling, almost like it would after a sunburn. It doesn't itch, burn, or anything like that. I've tried so many different types of lotions, cocoa butter, etc. doesn't seem to be getting any better. I have a doctor appt in a few weeks, but was just curious if any one else experienced this after their c-section. thanks!

I have braces and at first they were fine, until I got pregnant. My gums begin to inflame, the OB and the Dentist said that was normal, now that it's been 2 months since I had the baby I am afraid that my gums will never be normal again. Of course the inflammation has decreased but not very much. I brush twice a day, and I floss when possible, what else can I do?

For the lest month or so, when i feel hungry, i dont actually feel like eating - i just want to get rid of that hunger feeling...dont exactly like the feeling of being full either

This is nothing to do with the taste, just the fact that i dont enjoy the process of eating the food...

should i be worried, as i find myself forcing food down my mouth instead of enjoying it?

My favourite sandwich is tuna mayo (or bacon, sweetcorn, chicken, mayo) and I'm worried that mayo is really bad. If this is the case. is low-fat mayo any good?

I ask this simply due to the fact that I don't have the money for prilosec-otc or other otc's. My first doctor appointment (I just moved to area) is at the end of the week. Even if my doctor prescribes me meds, I may not be able to afford the co-pay due to a limited income. Any help in this arena will be helpful.

daily i m burning 700 calories in gym, then sauna , steam for about 15,mnts each.my break-fast include one stuffed parotha,big glass of kesar milk & aboiled egg. my lunch include two chapati & vegetables. my evening includes four 60 ml drinks, tandoori snacks, & dal or vegetable.no roti or rice in nights. i m really bored with these exercise in gym .one more thing i don't want to leave evening drinks.i do not take any sugar products even tea also without sugar.kindly advice.

I have had thyroid surgery Nov 3rd, 2006 for Hypotyroidism- I am still tired, loosing my hair extremly moody 0 - 80 in seconds. Have not lost any weight. I have also had damage done to my left voical cord. It is completely paralyzed. I can not sing, shout, scream. I sound like I have laryngitis all the time. When my voice is weak, most people think I am deaf. The doctors stats that they saw the nerve endings. The doctors have said that it would take aprox. 6 weeks to get my voice back. Then it was move to 3 months then 6 months now the extended it to 9 months to a year. They state that this is common. How common is this. I was to believe that in a few weeks I would be back to noraml. I am so fustrated and can cry my emotions are all screwed up. Please advise.

I got an industrial cartilage piercing a few days ago or more and I've been cleaning it twice a day with Lever 2000 but its still oozing and crusty. Is this normal? And if not, what should I clean it with? Should I put peroxide on it? I don't want to get a keloid!

every time I get something wrong with me I think it is fatal, I am suffering with dizziness at the moment which is making me think I have a brain tumour, Its spoiled the day completely today and I have to go out with my family to celebrate mothers day tonight and I haven't stopped crying since 10 this morning, I can't tell them anything because they are probably sick of hearing it by now. Can you cure worry and hypocondrism ( if thats the word ). I think if I die my youngest won't remember me the other 2 will be devastated and have to be split up and live with their fathers I am really needed here and I am always thinking im leaving soon.
