aids is an std. aids kills your immune system (fights disease and helps when you get sick, etc.) and you cant survive without that, and thats why you die from aids cause you get sick and your body cant fight it. if you get hiv, you dont have aids but its easier to get aids or something like that.both hiv and aids are std's.

AIDS is a type of STD. STD stands for sexualy transmitted disease. So any disease thats passed on by women OOPS! I mean sex is considered an STD.
