Health - 18 March 2007

I have migraines on a regular basis but now I have developed a completely new type of headache. I feel like I have brain freeze (like after you drink something cold even though I don't) and it usually last for a few hours. Also, I have been having severe pain above my left eye and it has been blood shot and my vision has been slightly blurry. I have no money to go see a doctor at the moment but these headaches are getting so bad I can barely function. Does anyone know what it could be or how to help???

Of all the diets I have tried, the low carb diet showed results but of course I didn't stick to it and gained the weight back. All body types are different and I've heard good and bad opinions about this diet. What do you think? I'm looking for long term results and need to lose weight.

Hi there i used to be a very happy person, full of life and i was going to get somewhere in my life however things where to make a turn for the worse, i went on Accutane and now i have metal problems, now i cant look people in the eyes anymore because when i look then in the eyes i think of looking at other parts of their face, also im always thinking about my breathing at night so i cant sleep, ive lost my personality, my confidence i dont go out and socialise anymore like i used to, i never used to be like this not until i went on Accutane! and thats just to name a few, anyhow this acne drug has turned my life upside down and i dont know how to be my old self anymore? I wish i could turn back time and have my old ance back and just be my old self! Has anyone had the same metal problems sense been on Accutane? If so let me know? Also what else has Accutane done to you for the worse? Just to let you know i am going to get help for this, take care all thanks.

I woke up yesterday with really bad pain in my knee. It feels hot to touch compared to the other one, but doesnt seem to be swollen etc..
It really hurts when bending, straightening and even just sitting still. I have had it before, about 6 months ago when it lasted for a week then disappeared. It really is very painful and I can hardly walk, any ideas what it could be??
I didn't injure it, just woke up in agony!

I'm just curious to see if there's a relationship between certain professions and their attention to their personal hygene.

I work in the computer science profession (programmer) and I find it very common for people in our profession to sit at the computer for 2 days non-stop... without shower.

I guess on average, I only shower once every 4 days.

Which profession do you work in and how often do you shower?
