i got chest pain and such.. i think i have some heart problem. should i talk to my doctor first or check into a hospital directly? do i need a doctor's note to enter a hospital?

I spent the whole day at a track meet and I was exposed to direct sunlight for about seven hours or more, now I feel awful and am cold and shivery. I have bad sunburns and feel really tender. My eye's are hot and i have a near headache. I don't think I should be shivering. Do you know what is going on?

my stomach has been hurting alot lately, and its not just like a stomach ache, its really bad, and i tried eliminating milk, in case im lactose intollerant, and tomatoe products, cause i eat them a lot and i though thats what might be causing it, but it hasnt helped. today all i had was ramen, strawberry water and some lemon juice, and it my stomach is still acting up.

I am a healthy girl - I do tennis and I run every other day b/c of school athletics. Even though I work out some, I'm not sure why I'm not burning this fat off my stomach--my meal during school is usually a PB&J sandwich, chips, an apple and a granola bar. Maybe a cookie every now and then. I snack a lot, and my family loves steak and stuff. I think part of the problem is not eating right, but I'm not sure what TO eat. I also lack willpower when it comes to sweets...HELP!! PLEASE!

I'm 17 and just to put short....I hate my eyes! When I was smaller kids would make fun of me because of my eyes. My eyes are a very light grey which look blue-ish sometime with many flecks of hazel and green....weird I know and I hate it!! I've tryed contacts but I find them very uncomfortable....what can I do to....somehow get them normal? a brown or something? PLEASE HELP!!!

OK, to set this up mom was dx in 2006 with ovarian cancer. Had to have part of her bowels taken out. She's been on TPN basically from August until just last month when they put in a J-Tube (PEJ) in her Jejunum since the G-Tube (PEG) in her stomach didn't help with foods.

Anyways she was on Jevity 1.2 Cal and that has allowed us to get her out of the hospital, however she still really can't *eat* anything because:

1) It seems to sit in her stomach
2) She eventually thorws it up a day or two later (and you can tell by seeing the food pieces what day she ate that stuff)

Today I gave her one of her pills (in a v-cap form that should dissolve) and she threw it up along with alot of other green bile a few hours later. The pill was entirely intact! Not even dissolved at all.

I'm wondering if there is something we are missing with digestive juices or something in the stomach? Any ideas?

Im 13 years old and i cant stop worrying. Im getting annoyed b ecause my glands are swollen possibly from allergies are something else but theres never a fever i never had a fever. I have a tickle sorta soar throat feeling with red bumps in the back of my throat my doctor says there from to much Pos-nasal-drip. My cheeks are red and so is my nose im getting a rash all over the place my mom thinks its due to stress. And ive been coughing no vomoting and no fever. I just feel wierd right now yesterday to like its hard to explain really but its strange. Can anxiety cause your arms and legs to move like twitching cause i get that so do both of my friends that have it. Its hard to sleep because i cant stop thinking about things. not only that im always worried something bad is about to happen

My dog Morph is/was the worlds smartest dog and a most courageous 4 leg animal. He's mixed pure bred golden retriever and shepard mutt. Understands 3 languages, looks both ways before crossing highway traffic. He defended me by attacking 2 fully grown rottweillers when he was about a year old. He's nearly 10 now but acting so weird.
He has mild heartworm treated for past 2 years, all of his shots. He has always stalked and eats wild muskrats, beaver and the odd rabbit staying mostly outdoors. Now he's crazy won't eat, can't decide what he wants to do. If there were dog taverns he'd be there sucking beer all winter.

ive been sick for 3 days first day and third day i had a fever, but not on monday,my symptoms were fever, coughing, sore throat, runny nose, and nasal congestion, now its the fourth day of being sick but i dont have much of a runny nose, no sore throght, more coughing, no fever, the new symptom that i have is that i can hear that well in my left year, what could that mean?

is it ok to use spermicide gel or foam whilst taking birth control pills? i take my pills regularly and i know they are about 99.9 % effective. Even though, i am still a bit paranoid in becoming pregnant, is it ok to use spermicides to make the chances of not becoming pregnant higher? and also, is it ok to use it on my 7 days of no pills?

I have a friend (a college student) who participated in a study on personality disorder medication 3 months ago (for extra money). During this study she took two versions of personality disorder medication.

Recently she was admitted into a mental hospital, she is beign treated for bi polar disorder. May there be a correlation between the test 3 months ago?

My friend was healthy before all of this happened.
