I spent the whole day at a track meet and I was exposed to direct sunlight for about seven hours or more, now I feel awful and am cold and shivery. I have bad sunburns and feel really tender. My eye's are hot and i have a near headache. I don't think I should be shivering. Do you know what is going on?

I also feel very weak, and fatigued. Does anyone know of any similar conditions? Could it be sun-stroke?

Umm, well the other people seem to have it down. PinkGink gave me a good laugh
I'm guessing you aren't going to a doctor cause you asked the question here, instead of to him. So here are the things I suggest doing. As the other guy said, drink LOTS of fluids. Juice/Gatorade to replenish electrolytes (sp?) and stay warm.
Now the real thing i'm wondering, what kind of shitty track coaches do you have? Wow, every serious track person knows that the sun drains your energy, so they all tell you not to stand around in it...unless they told you and you didn't heed.
You should be fine, if 7 hours of sunlight was enough to send someone to the doctor, i'd be scared to touch a knife.
go to www.webmd.com to learn about what you think you have...sun something don't remember

heat exhaustion. Is whats happening. I assume your are no longer sweating either. You should really be pushing some fluids down you. Not a lot of sugar drinks like coke. Careful with the sugar. You need water and electrolytes. Maybe a little salt

Sun poisoning and dehydration. Drink some fluids, water or something. Take Advil. And use sunscreen next time. Also apply a good lotion. And most definitely take tomorrow off if allowed. You will peel in a few days but you will be fine.

Maybe you should go to the hospital you could have a serious condition such as heat stroke or a fluid/electrolyte imbalance...at least call your doctor to see what you should do and call a family member or friend to come be with you.

Get some rest and take a couple of Tylenol. They will help with the head ache and the sunburn. Don't freak out too bad, you should be ok.
Good Luck!
