sometimes i think there's something really wrong with how i was raised.. i know i'm an adult and i need to take responsibiltiy but i'm 28 years old and never had a serious healthy relationship and neither has my brother 25.. he's even worse than me because he's never had a girlfriend ever.. i've had boyfriends but they always treat me very bad.. i'm not bragging but we are both very attractive and are from a wealthy family so it's not that people aren't attracted to us.. for some reason we don't know how to make a relationship with someone else.. i'm more worried for my brother than i am for me because he doesn't have any friends or a girl.. the weird thing is, my parent's have been married 32 years and are very social.. i'm not sure what's wrong with us..

I've had epididymitis for more than two months now. I'm not promiscuous and I've been tested for STDs and the test was negative, but doctors have given me a course of Doxycycline 100mg to be taken twice a day a couple of months ago, and another course was given to me last week, but they seem to be having little to no effect. The pain isn't severe, but I'm worried about long-term fertility issues and stuff like that which can be associated with this. Ibuprofen seems to stop the pain pretty well, but I want to address and treat the underlying cause so it doesn't ruin my chances of conceiving in the future, it worries me because I'm only 18 and I don't have the pathogens associated with this in my age group. I'm booked in for an ultrasound scan next month, but I want to hear some guidance in the meantime.

Ok, so. One moring I wake up with my upper right tooth the third one, loose. I am not sure if it was permanate, cause I don't remember if I lost it or not when I was younger younger.
So It started getting looser and looser, and finally, few months later I pulled it out since it was dangling. NOW I am scared it was a permanant tooth. I have nitemares about it, and its really getting to me. Should I go to the doctor? (I pulled it out just a few days ago)

Both my mother and I have been cashiers at some point. And the both of us have gotten tendonitis from it in both forearms. I atually got Carpal Tunnel syndrome just before the tendonitis set in. She hasn't been a cashier in more than a decade but her arms are still clearly suffering as she can't put any strain on them before they hurt again. Mine started a yeas ago and I worked 6 months on them before I had to quit. I too can't pinch something and either lift it or move my arm without intense pain. I also can't do much lifting or say carrying home groceries without the pain lasting for another few days. Will we EVER get over this? Any rememdies?

I got stitches in my finger after i accidentally cut it with an exacto knife. My mom took the stitches out because she is a nurse, but there is still a part left in there. It is the part where the stitch goes under the skin. i was afraid for her to pull it out and it still hasn't been pulled out. How long can i keep it in? What will happen if i never take it out? Will it work its way out eventually? How bad will it hurt?

My mother is ill. She is severly anemic, has a blood clot in her lung, and is losing much blood. She is experiencing pain and complications. The doctors do not know what to do.

I BEG of everyone, PLEASE say a little prayer right now for God's healing touch. Pray that He heals her. Please. And if we all pray right now, at the same time, there's a power of prayer in numbers.

I love my mother deeply.

I go through long periods where I am emotionally blank. I don’t want to speak to anyone, do anything and am indifferent to everything around me. If I’m put in a situation where I am forced to be social I pretty much snap. I’m rude and generally rather unpleasant to be around and its not something I can control. I’m fine/indifferent one moment then the next I’m miserable as hell. Its starting to get worse again and whist I haven’t started hurting myself (this includes anything that wont leave visible evidence)I know it will end up at that. I know my boyfriend of 4 years hates it and its not fair for him to deal with it. So I want to try and sort it out but I have no clue what the problem is. I don’t really know if there is a problem. I’ve always been like this. No one on here can tell me what’s my problem is but Does it sound like I have a problem to you? If so what? I just want to have something to say to my doctor if I go rather than “hey doc! people think I'm a bit of a loose cannon"

Back in 96' my grandfather died from sickle cell anemia,a genetic disease that is only found in the genes of African American people. When my mom found out she was pregnant with me, she was very scared that I would be sick because my dad's side carried the trait or gene. Luckily I am fine but I worry if I will carry the trait and my kids might have sickle cell since the trait can skip generations. I don't have any kids yet but I always wondered about if the chances of my child having it would be lessened if I had children with somebody outside of my race.
And please spare me the " you're just looking for a reason to marry outside of your race" or anything else ridiculous or rude. I simply asked a question. If you feel you can not answer it intelligently, then keep it moving please. In other words, skip this question.

I started using the NuvaRing on the first day of my menstrual cycle. My periods are normally two days long. When the 2nd day had passed and I was still bleeding, I figured it was because of the NuvaRing and my body getting use to the hormones. When I reached day 4 of bleeding, I decided to take the NuvaRing out completely. I bled for a total of Nine days. That was last month. This month my period was suppose to come on the 13th, as it normally does, but there was nothing. And it is still nothing with it now being the 17th. Could this be because of the NuvaRing?
