Well carrying it in the crook of your elbow then yes that would definitely cause your arm to become tingly. You are putting pressure on your artery causing your circulation to be cut off to the rest of your arm and hands. As long as your not carrying the car seat for hours like this then you aren't doing damage. but if it bothers you then I would recommend carrying the car seat in your hand.

pressure on a nerve. Just like when you cross your legs. You are putting pressure on the nerve somewhere, which decreases sensation to the area.
If you have this problem without crossing your legs, you should see a chiropractor. It could be due to cervical vertebral misalignment.

Some of your spinal vertibraes are out of alignment. See a chiropractor, prefably a graduate of the Palmer School. Call around to check for his fees and what school he graduated from in chiropracty.
