Just start over with your next meal. Don't let it ruin your diet.

I think everyone is entitled to have a "day off" from dieting now and then. While it isn't a license to eat anything and everything without moderation, depriving yourself of food you like completely will only make you eat more of it when you get the chance. This will make you feel guiltier and try to overcompensate by skipping meals or eating less the next meal. This is what can make many diets fail as the person is not actually eating fewer calories in the long run and the body's metabolism gets messed up because it is going from too few calories to too little. The body goes from trying to store food for the future to burning fat for energy. Hope this helps and good luck.

No-it is NOT bad. In fact, you may want to give consideration to allowing yourself one day per week to allow yourself ONE item that is not something you regularly eat on your "diet". Like, yes, a small dish of ice cream. Or, a couple of cookies. You don't have to Make Up for what you did when off your "diet plan". Just see about the one day, one item per week treat. Take care.

I'm in a weight loss class and the instructor who is a trainer and dietitian says to look at the whole week. We write down everything we ate for the week and see patterns, but a one day binge isn't a pattern, it's just one day. I'm trying to lose weight but had chicken wings and pizza for dinner last night. Looking back at the whole week, it's not so bad, and man those wings were good. Relax. Don't try to compensate by fasting tomorrow, in the whole scheme, it's just one day.

Dieting should be healthy eating everyday of your life. We all indulge once in awhile. Forgive yourself and change tomorrow.Fad diets work well but tend to make people gain more weight than when they started. "You On a Diet" is sensible and really helps your body to stay thin and healthy. Good luck and have a great weekend.

Actually, it'd be worse to try and make up for it tomorrow. Just go back to your regular diet and put your mistake behind you.

If you eat too much one day, the worse thing you can do is eat too little the next because that will just drop your metabolism and make it harder to burn off what you ate the previous day. Just get back on track and you'll be fine.

FOCUS on the positive, and laugh-off the negative days you have with diet and exercise.

Dont mind the little slip ups, Focus on your achievments.
