every time i lift my knee up my hip flexor pops and when i run my hip feels fine but after soccer practice it hurts and ive had this problem before but not the poping thing and last time it was just a strained hip flexor could it be something different?

ps: im already seeing a physical therapist for my hip that i hurt a while ago should i tell them about this

You may have what we'd call a "mechanical problem" in the front of your hip - something is getting caught there as your leg moves forward. It is hard to comment with the info given, but I am confident that a physcial therapist in your area could help you to figure this out and get past it.

Ideally, you would see a PT who is a certified specialist in either orthopedic or sports physcial therapy (OCS or SCS after their name). Go to APTA.org, click on "find a PT", and search your home area.
