Don't be scared. Find your mom when she's in a good mood. Simply say mom, I would really like to start shaving and I was hoping you would help me. Trust me she'll be happy you asked her. Something little like this can make a mom feel like she actually is involved in your life. Don't be nervous, just go ahead and ask.

If you are 14 than you not only need to be shaving you should be wearing deodorant as well. It's not a big deal And has nothing to do with being a tomboy and I doubt she will be surprised. Just pick up some razors next time your at the store along with some shaving gel.

I would ask her you may be surprised what she might say. If you are a bit of a tomboy she may not realize you even have an interest in doing so. Personally I started my daughter to shaving her legs at 12 because she was in shorts last year and hers looked bad she never asked me. I would ask your mom though. I'm sure at this point she does realize you are starting to grow up and may just be waiting for you to show interest in it rather than pushing you to

Huh? In year 8 and you're 14? What's that mean?
If you have hair to shave, then you shave.

well, i didnt really ask my mom, i just decided i needed to, im the same age and grade. umm, if you want to i think you should go for it. it would be a bit embarassing not to. my mom didnt really mind that much. she was just like "oh. ok"
if you dont know how and dont want to ask your mom, ask a trusting friend

Wait, your a girl.......what exactly do you want to shave? Your face, legs, armpits, or "downtown"??? I hope to God its not your face. If it is, then I wouldn't really want to tell ANYONE!!! Wow
