I'm going to see a dermatologist soon for my acne. My first time to see the dermatologist, I'm 14. I've heard from other people that the dermatologist didn't help them at all. Just wanting to know others experience with their dermatologist? Did they help at all? And what did they suggest? Any information at all.

I have been having sudden and sharp pain in my lower left chest area for about a week or so. It isn't constantly hurting. Once or twice a day I feel a sudden stabbing pain with every breath for a few moments, and then it goes away. But it doesn't hurt with every breath. Does anyone have any ideas on what this could be?

last june 2006, i undergone surgery,the cyst removal from my right ear (between the skull and ear actually). my problem is that, the cut doesn't heal up to now.even though i take antibiotics.the wound is producing a whitish liquid.it's about less than an inch in length.on january this year, i aws diagnosed of hyperthyroidism.is this disease affects the process of wound healing??? what shoul i do???

but i dont ever remember being really "upset" about it. i mean, ofcourse i wish i didnt happen but growing up to me it was kinda "no big deal." then, for a while whenever i talked about it my eyes would start to water up yet i still felt like it was no big deal. is this normal?

Here's the symptoms, but I dunno what to classify it as....

-Guilty eater
-healthy body weight
-hate self image
- hate seeing self in the mirror
-sees someone very large
-takes diet pills
-consumes 1000 calories a day
- exercises very often
-takes intestinal cleansers


What does that sound like to anyone? Could it just be depression?

I think I am... I have mood changes... constantly.
ALSO
At times I can't sleep and others times I sleep to long.
I deny that anything is wrong
I think of death/sudicide
I'm easily distracted or I loose intrest easily.
At times I forget things very easily
I get irritated easily
I've noticed a change in my appetite or weight.
I feel empty or "blue" a lot
And I when I get depressed/sad/mad it gets worse everytime.

Can anyone please help me?

well today i asked and i said im on my period. and she just said to sit back down theres only 20 min left, this ladys old could she of forgten that in 20 min i would be bleeding on her!!lol, ok well not really but i got up and left class and went to the bathroom i ended up getting 2 days of school clean up thing after school. but my question is what should i do next time this happens?

My dad has had a history of Liver problems, he went into the hospital due to neck pain and was givin a priscription of 500mg of vickodin. The doctors took blood and should have found that he had liver problems. They sent him on his way 3-4 days later he died.
My understanding, people that has severe liver problems shouldn't be givin anything that has high doses of tylonol in it cause it will induce liver failure. My question to the people out there is is this a part of medical malpractice??
Did they misdiagnose him and give him a pain killer that eventually led to his death?

I recently went to my doctor because i had frequent urination and they found puss in my urine. They diagnosed me with a bladder infection and gave me cipro but it didn't help. I was then told i had prostatitis and I was on ofloxacin for 3 weeks and then doxycycline for another 2 weeks but have had no improvement. I have had many urine cultures done and have been clear and my prostate has never been swollen or inlarged. Doctors can't seem to figure out what is wrong. I am in much discomfort. If anyone has ever been cured of prostatitis please help me out, thanks.
