Hi JAP. Oral vitamin C has been shown to NOT be capable of producing the blood vitamin C levels that IV ascorbate does. Unfortunately, only the IV generated levels have anti-cancer effects. This is the reason that Linus Pauling's work with IV ascorbate showed anti-cancer benefits, but followup studies using oral vitamin C did not work. An excellent review of this issue was published a year or two ago in the "Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences". The paper is available on their website.

Best wishes.
