Good for you for leaving class, and even more so for admitting you're on your period. If you're expecting it ahead of time, maybe wear a pad in class, then switch to a tampon after class, that way you're prepared none the less. but an emergency is an emergency. What if you had had to go pee? They can't keep you there it could cause a bladder problem or something!

Good for you girl, try reminding her how unpleasent a period is at that age again, and if she wont let you go, walk out again. I wish I had that kinda guts

This would be the perfect time for a parent/teacher conference. I don't think you should have gotten in trouble because you needed to go to the bathroom. I believe you had a valid reason and she should have let you go because if you had began to bleed heavily, then you would have had to go home embarassed. Hopefully there will not be a next time, but if you have your parent(s) contact the school, you probably won't have to go through that anymore. Good Luck!

Explain to her that it is an emergency and mention that you have your period and you really need to go now!
Tell her that you will try to hurry, and that tomorrow you will find a different time to go so that you aren't always skipping out on parts of her class to go.

If she still won't let you then after school tell the nurse and she may be able to write you a note that allows you to go the bathroom while in her class.

Just talk to the teacher at the end of class as to why you had to leave then and there, it's not like your teacher has a leash on you and can force you to pee in your seat (well in your case bleed) if after talking to your teacher doesn't work try talking to another female authority figure and tell them that she's just trying to play god and punish you for wanting to change your tampon.

I would definitely talk to her about it. I mean she is a teacher and she has heard a lot of excuses from students so they can get out of class. Maybe she thinks that you just wanted to leave and didn't really have a problem. Next time if it happens and she doesn't let you leave go higher up.

Talk to her about your concerns. If she doesn't understand after that, you might have to speak with the school nurse or principal (if you feel comfortable). I don't think it is appropriate for teachers to prevent students from using the bathroom....sometimes it is not possible to wait 20 minutes.

i used to be a instructor at one time yet as quickly as I have been you i might rfile her to the State Board once you tell the crucial and the Superintendent. ensure the crucial knows that the undertaking shouldn't supply up with them. determine you examine to ensure if there are any State regulations approximately how lengthy a instructor could make you wait. some problem-loose and intense college instructors think of they are GOD and could do in spite of they prefer and get away with it. you moreover mght could desire to realize that your conversing once you weren't meant to GAVE HER a reason to maintain you in, and he or she rightfully theory which you have been purely attempting any excuse to get out. i does not have believed you the two... shop your mouth close once you're meant to and according to risk you will get some attention next time. it works the two techniques.

tell her that you are having your period [still] and need to change your pad because its getting full. if she doesnt then i would ask to go to the nurse for medicine for cramps.. if not, then i would go to the nurse that your teacher wouldn't let you go.
