You need to talk to your doctor about getting on thyroid medication. There are several to choose from, once your thyroid is under control it will greatly improve your difficulties with the unhealed wound. You could also get on an antibiotic, and perhaps see about having the wound resealed.

You MUST do some research here. Are you aware that if you go on to any sort of drugs for the thyroid then you have to have it for the rest of your life? Do you know why? It is because once you body is getting it synthetically it thinks it doesn't need this gland any more and shuts it down. Never to work again! Would you prefer to get the endocrine system in balance using non-synthetic means?

I know an international research and development company that, for the past 20 years, has been providing people around the world with herbal formulas that synergistically work with the body. If you would like to find out more about this company and how you can directly access their products, you may email me directly at leanne27@aapt.net.au

They also have products (amongst others) that are designed to help the body heal. I have seen some wonderful testimonies from people. All they have done is changed brands of their personal care products and given their body the required nutrition.

First, hyperthroidism is a condition, not a disease. It doesn't have anything to do with your cut not healing.
Given the area, where you were cut, this will take a while to heal. You have your hair, folds from your ear, and other things which make this area a perfect breeding ground for bacteria. You need to keep it super clean and not irritated by hats and such. If you sleep on your right side, try to sleep on your left side, bandage the cut, at night.
Last, but not least, if it doesn't improve, go back to the doctor.

You should speak to a doctor, because it could be infected, but I don't think hyperthyroidism dirsrupts the healing process.

hyperthyrodism does not cause this

This is something to discuss with your doctor. I also suggest that you discuss wound management.... you may require expert assistance to heal.
