Health - 1 March 2007

In November i had a pap smear done and the result was abnormal. I was too scared to go back and so i havent been. The doctor that did the pap smear is unable to do another one because of the circumstances the first test was done under. So i need to go to a new doctor and explain to them what is going on. The reason why i think i have HPV is because my ex boyfriend had 2 small bumps on his bits and when we first got together i went for a pap smear and a STD check just to be safe and i told him i wanted him to go too and he said he had had a full check up when he started a job and then when i pointed out the bumps he said he had them checked and they were fine.

My boyfriend and i have since broken up and i dont believe a word that he said and i am so angry. I had re accuring genital symptoms when i was with him none of which i had prior to sleeping with him. Right now i am fine, i have never noticed any warts but at the moment i have slight lower abdominal discomfort.

The last time I went, I let it grow out to about 1/4". I will groom around the area, but should I just shave it all off as usual? I didn't want my last doctor to think I was some sort of sexpot or something. Haha... Let me know what you guys think. I have a female doctor about age 40+

A friend recently fainted. She seemed ok in a couple minutes, but went to the hospital any way. she spent 4 days in the hospital, and it was diagnosed a mild heart attack. Possible? No chest pain, just dizzy and passed out about 45 seconds.

One time, this guy was going down on me, and it was intensly amazing.. But afterwards my whole body was shaking and my hands were all numb and locking up and my thumbs were pointing inwards. I could feel my face twitching as well. That never happened before. It took about 15-20 mintues for me to feel normal again. Why did this happen?

I have to go for a medical for a new job next Tuesday. This involves a urine test. I last smoked dope last Sunday morning along with putting a load of coke up my nose. I know that coke leave your system in a few days but im not sure about dope. Will I pass this test?

Hi I get thrush on average about twice every 6 months or so, I normally use the canestan pessary and cream which works quite well (but is messy) so I thought I would try the oral capsule (its expensive but It seemed like an easier option).
I took it 2 days ago (it says on the pack should clear symptoms within 2 to 3 days) but I feel no better at all and its killing me!
Should I wait 1 more day and see if it clears up or just go and get the pessery?
Has anyone else used the oral pill and it has worked ok?

personality disorder and low moods to try and achieve the hopes and dreams i want. when id rather emmegrate to some unknown small town in america, build a new life. find somebody nice. a nice girl. a nice home. my own house. a good job, feeling happy and secure. but no, this can only ever be a pipe dream to me..instead im trapped in an existance i dont want to be in. and ill no therell come a cut off point where itll be to late. im already 29. ive suffered with mental health problems since i was 15. ive never ever worked. got any qualifications. never had a steady girlfriends or had any friends..i live in a small flat on sickness benefits and live an isolated life. this isnt the life i wanted..or dreamed of..but im stuck with it..no ones gonna throw me a life line.i hate my flat. hate my loneliness.hate my moods. hate being on benifits.hate being in britain.hate my lifes drifting no where..when id rather be somewhere else with security. with a completly different life. so what do i do?

with prostrate cancer and the specialist apparently told him that his blood levels are 7.9??? I have no idea what this means but he says that the reading is too high. The specialist told him he can't fit him in until the end of May and that he should go on his overseas trip and enjoy himself !!! Any naturopaths or herbalists out there who can give me a bit of info regarding his likely prognosis and wot sort of natural remedy/action he should take???

I've been on it for 12 years. After a surgery went bad my doctor overdosed me accidentally on methadone.I was on a external pacemaker for 72 hors. It feels like your getting punched in the heart. I've known several addicts and several pain patients on methadone. It is dangerous and once taken you'll be on it forever.A methadone clinic can help you. Do you have state assistance you can qualify for? I'm not trying to ***** it scares the hell out of me what you are about to do. But my oh my you'll be dead if you start at the methadone clinic dose of 100-150mg What you want to know is 5-10mg once or twice a day. Are you taking it for pain or addiction. Even addicts can be treated with narcotics. They just need higher doses but have a right to be treated for the pain.

I am very shy in asking for what I need, so I've settled for a GP I don't like. I have Medicaid insurance, and not a lot of doctors take it. I've gone as far as getting a list of doctors who do, calling them, & leaving messages....but no one calls back.
Please help! I have a rare disorder of the nervous system, I'm in nearly constant pain, and I'm not getting the attention I feel my case deserves. It such an interesting case, I think it deserves some care.......not the county health department.
