Ok,
i know there are people who like to be in shape but u don't sound like u realy need to loose a couple of pounds. If u like to do some exercise then its fine with me,but i realy think u don't need it if u say you weight "97" pounds.
I may be 2 inches tall but i also do my own exercise at home and i should know that at your perfect weight you shouldn't do it just to loose 10 pounds, maybe 2 pounds but way 10?
Hope it helps!

That is not a healthy goal, If you lose to much to fast it is very bad for you. I suggest you integrate 30 minutes of exercise daily with a balanced diet (weight watchers) and aim for 1-3 pounds a week. I know it doesn't seem like much but it's better to lose it slowly and in a healthy way that can consistent for a lifestyle change. Losing weight fast and unhealthy generally means you will just gain it back and you while you losing you might not feel well because you body lacks nutrition.

U cannot loose weight that fast. It is dangerous.
Eat only when hungry. Eat only nutritious and not junk. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in ur meals. Do not take more than three meals a day unless diabetic. Nothing in between except water. It will help u to contain ur craving for if u chew each morsel of food 32 times. It will also help ur brain to generate a signal that u have had enough.
Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly. These practices will help u to attain ideal weight within a reasonable time span.

The answer is whatever it is going to take. Nobody can tell you exactly how much you need.
Losing weight is not just exercise, you have to eat right too. If you eat junk foods all day. Even 3 hours of daily exercise won't help you.
you have to track and measure what you do. Follow a plan and see what kind of results that you get. If your eating is "okay" then you can increase exercise to see if it makes a difference.

That much weight in one week is not likely. The average steady weight loss should be no more than 3 lbs/week if you want to keep it off. 30 minutes a day at your target heart rate will get you into shape and boost your metabolism. FWIW at that weight you really don't need to lose any more.

It depends the type of exercise you are performing. Half an hour jogging or 45 minutes brisk waking is sufficient enough to keep you fit.
