with prostrate cancer and the specialist apparently told him that his blood levels are 7.9??? I have no idea what this means but he says that the reading is too high. The specialist told him he can't fit him in until the end of May and that he should go on his overseas trip and enjoy himself !!! Any naturopaths or herbalists out there who can give me a bit of info regarding his likely prognosis and wot sort of natural remedy/action he should take???

............... :0)

PEACE

With a PSA (prostate specific antigen) level of 7.9 he is fine to go off and enjoy his holiday. Since PSA is only present when there is some degree of prostate enlargement further investigation is needed but not urgent, has he had a biopsy? If he hasnt it may not even be cancer, it may be benign prostate enlargement. Go to www.drredds.com.au the ginger punch prostate formula that can be purchased has been PROVED in invitro testing at the University of Queensland to kill all three types of prostate cancer. How do I know all of this? My stepfather was diagnosed with prostate cancer PSA 96. The tumour was the size of a football. With nothing to lose, he was terminal, we tried the punch, within 12 months the cancer was gone, and has stayed gone. I have absolutely no doubt what saved his life, I saw the tumour on the scan and went to all of his doctors appointments with him. Good luck!

Prostate (no extra "R"---a common mistake, but means something entirely different) Cancer is definitely one of the most treatable, but I disagree with the doctor waiting *any* amount of time, before doing a biopsy and beginning treatment.

Cancer of all kinds is really just cells that have mutated and are proliferating more rapidly than normal cells. Prostate cancer when it is confined to the gland is manageable, but it can metastasize (most commonly to the bone) and that is bad.

He needs to be biopsied to make certain it is cancer, and not just infection, and if it is, needs to either have surgical removal, or begin hormone therapy & possibly radiation.

In addition, if it is cancer, he needs a bone scan to determine if it has spread.

I think homeopathic treatment can be very helpful in prevention of certain types of cancers, but would be reluctant to recommend it as the sole treatment for a known cancer.

Peace to you too.

PSA levels are specifically for checking prostate : 0.4 is normal so 0.79 shows signs of infection whether that be bacterial or cancer not sure don't know much more than this, though there are some herbal remedies like ProsQn but unsure if that would do any good it basically just promotes good prostate health. If it is cancer they would cut it out and use chemo or possibly just radiation therapy on its own. many people have survived this disease my dad being one of them. Hope everything goes well. Ask for some percocet slow release pain killers or oxcy contin wich is basically morphine but in slow release tablet form.

ok 1 thing you need to know with some doctors if they are treating you and you start with all of the herbs and stuff they have a right to stop treating you because they will wont to do there own meds and they dont know a lot about natural herbs and what might not go good with them this is from personal experience you better think about it
