My wife has spinal stenosius, she had surgery last year and it help her alot, but her very bottom disc is out causing her to walk, stand,or sit without it being difficult and painful. She also has protruding dics in her neck as well as 2 buldging discs. Her Dr. had told her that if physical therepy doesn't help in another 3 months, that he'll just keep her on Oxycoton 40mg as long as it works for her.
Now,is there something wrong with this picture or am I that dumb. I need all the help I can get.

I have a bad case of strep throat. I got a perscription of antibiotics, plus 3 steroid pills I had to take all at once to make the swelling go down. I also am taking birth control pills. The doc says to take 3 antibiotic pills a day, morning, noon, and night. And they are kind of big pills. I'm really worried about getting a yeast infection. How likely is it that I will get one because of all these meds? What can I do to try and prevent this? Any tips?

I recently returned to work after I was violently ill for 3 months. I was tested for colitis, cancer, croan's disease and after finding nothing they diagnosed me with IBS. I have to watch what I eat and drink so my symptoms don't get too severe. I work at a buffet and have suddenly become very scared of germs. I see so many different kinds of people handling the utensils. I feel that I'm so supseptable to illness. I have never taken any sick time for this before. I had a little bit of an IBS episode at work the other day and have come to the conclusion that people are not very sanitary and I might get sick from them. They are coughing and sneezing and blowing their noses or maybe just haven't bathed for a few days. I really like my job but I'm afraid this will interfere with my customer service. Its getting to the point where I won't even touch utensils handled by anyone unless I have gloves on.
Is my fear irrational?

Every year around this time (winter) I get rashes that itch really badly! I've been to the doctors a few times and they just said my skin is sensitive ... but I don't understand if it's the weather .. or something that causes it because it's only once a year around this time. The rashes are usually in places that I have tight clothing ... for example where my jeans tighten at my waist or my bra strap area. It's very frustrating because sometimes the rashes start peeling and leave ltitle scars. The scars do go away but it's still very annoying and I want to know what causes them. I have ointment and cream but it only reduces the itching but doesnt make it go away. Is there anything else I can?? what's wrong with me!

here is a blurry picture

Hello, I've been considered a big for my age when I was in elementary school (2 - 3 inches taller than the other kids) and up to including grade 8. But after graduating high school, many of the boys were taller me than me (up to 6'3 - 6'4 even).

I am 5'10 - 5'11 (not too sure what height) - Male
My dad is 5'11
My tallest cousin is about 6'0 - 6'1 preceding my other cousins which are around my height 5'11 - 6'0.

My doctor told me that (after reading my graph) that I have the chance to grow up to be 6'0 - 6'1 tall. This is when I was in grade 8 - 10 (not too sure). But I am still the same height as I was before. I don't understand!

However, during grade 9 - current, I don't exercise, sleep less, not having a proper diet, and stayed at home for the past 5 years. I want to grow taller.

Currently I work in a warehouse setting, I work two days a week and lift at times, which sometimes my back does sustain pressure from lifting heavy objects. Do I still have a chance?

Three months ago, when I first started working out, I could barely benchpress a 10 and 5 on each side - about 75 lbs.
Now I can bench a plate and 10 - about 155 lbs.

Three months ago, I could barely squat 75 lbs.
Now I can squat 135 lbs.

Three months ago, I could barely bicep curl 25 lbs.
Now I can curl 45 lbs.

Is it normal to grow at this pace? I don't drink too many protein shakes. About once every alternate day, but I eat a lot.

PS I'm not really a fitness guy. I'm a musician and I weigh a 145 lbs.

If there is an emergency, the wonderful people that staff the hospitals and ER's are there to help, and I want to thank every single one of you first.BUT...here's my problem.I was in an ER here in Las Vegas and saw a Mexican man who was suffering horribly and dripping blood by his seat while waiting more than four hours before he got helped. He had been sitting quietly trying to keep his nearly detached thumb onto his hand before the actual shock wore off and he felt it and started moaning in obvious agony.I doubt with the time that passed if he was able to get his thumb re-attached.My question is this: when I was there and said I had no insurance,I had a bad reaction from the person taking my info.I had cash, and paid (dearly) before I left.Is it possible that this man got overlooked because of the risk of non-payment due to lack of insurance? It's illegal, but I'm sure it could happen.

My seven year old daughter has multiple disabilities, including arthritis. Several therapists have said that swimming would be ideal to improve joint mobility and help with some other problems she is having. A friend said that she had heard before of someone getting assistance with this sort of thing. We live in Texas and my daughter has Medicaid. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
