Eclampsia is clearly the cause, she needs to be evaluated for other lab abnormalities, including Liver function, Renal function and Platlet count as these organ systems are also involved in eclampsia.

She might have developed preeclampsia after the baby was born. If so, they will give her meds to lower her blood pressure and prevent more seizures, until her blood pressure goes back down on its own. I was on magnesium sulfate because of preeclampsia, for a few days before my baby was born. The headache could have been from the preeclampsia, if that's what she has.
If her headache only went away when she was lying down flat, then it was a spinal headache, a possible side effect of the anesthesia used during the c-section. If that's the kind of headache she has, it can be treated with a blood patch. Basically, the headache is caused when the needle for the anesthesia makes a hole in the wrong place in the spinal column. A blood patch is blood drawn from the body and injected into the spine. It provides instant relief from the headache.
Your stepmom will need lots of help when she gets out of the hospital. For the first six weeks, she shouldn't lift anything heavier than her baby. Sometimes getting up and then lying down again over and over is painful, depending on how wide the incision is, so you can help your stepmom by getting things she needs, or bringing the baby to her. Here's some useful stuff you can tell her: Tight spandex underwear (like a gentle girdle) can help the c-section incision heal up faster. The incision needs to be kept dry. A maxi-pad placed in the underwear against the incision will help keep it dry and reduce the chance of infection or a fungus skin irritation.
Ask your dad what's going on with your stepmom and how you can help...if you're old enough to ask this question, you're old enough to know everything that's going on.

It is extremely difficult to explain why your stepmother had the seizures. They could be related to any number of things. If she had the cesarian done with spinal block, both the headache and seizure could be related to that. Since she was not previously diagnosed with epilepsy, the seizures likely have a medical cause and she can be treated to prevent any further problems. I'm sure it was frightening for you and you are worried for her, but seizures do not necessarily mean there is a major problem or that anything worse will happen. At this point, it would be more helpful for you to have a peace of mind if you just ask the doctors directly. Help your parents with the new baby as much as you can, and hopefully your stepmother will recover without any other troubles. Speak with your parents about your worries and concerns. You might not get all the answers, or answers you like, but then you will at least know what is going on better. Sometimes just knowing is enough to help.

Your stepmom may have lost too much blood which interferes with brain function. She needs a vitamin and plenty of water and rest. If she's not having epileptic seizure, hopefully her condition will improve if she builds her blood back up. She needs proteins like red meat, fish, chicken, peanut butter, etc and healthy veggies. She should have a check up in a few days and have some bloodwork done, or ask her doctor what he said if you can. You may have just misunderstood him.

This is probably Eclampsea or Toxcemia
I assume she is back in the hospital or has been with a doctor concerning her problem.
She will be fine under a doctor's care.
I hope you will be a sweetheart and help her around the house and with the baby.

She might get an infection during cesarean . So that might be the problem . If she is positive for hepatit C she should be careful about her diet . She should consume vitamin C and she shoud eat healthy food . Because her immune system may become weaker probably .

Placenta previa is serious and is sometimes caused by preeclampsia (high blood pressure). One of the risks of preeclampsia is seizure. They may need to give her high blood pressure medication to keep it under control at least for a while.
