I work in a veterinary clinic, and was wondering what are the best disinfectants to use? I notice that there is always a strange "smell" in the clinic, and I would like to make it have a more 'medical -clean' smell. Also, are there any hints/tricks that anyones uses?? Thanks!!!

I am monitoring my blood sugar level. I took fasting reading as 117 and then did one hour floor exercises without taking any food or drink. Soon thereafter the new reading increased by 25 points to 142. Where did the additional sugar come into the blood from for I remained in fasting state altogether. Also the boold came out with some pressure when I pricked it for the second reading after the exercises.

Hi guys my hair was pulled with tremendous force last night i was in agnoy for ages, i ad a lump where the hair had been pulled and couldnt even lie on that side of my head all night i had an extreme headache and was so tired i have woken up this morning im still feeling really droppy and the pain is stil there and my neck and legs are stiff is this normal?

OMG... I am having the absolute worse back pain. I can't even walk or get out of bed without bursting into tears. Sleeping on either sides with pillows tucked under me is so uncomfortable. Heating pads, ice packs and even IcyHot doesn't work!!! When i do get up to walk it feels like my hip is out of its socket and my lower back constantly cracks and pops... what can i do to relieve this pain????

ppl around me r not trying to understandmy feelings.my husband is going away for a week.he has not been away from me for the past 5yrs now(that is after our marriage).so now when he is leaving(may be jus for a week)but it is very difficult for me.i feel like crying....when i ask some one for advice they say iam being childish or very dependent on him.it is not the case i have got attached to him so much now in that i cant spend a day with out him.i know his job demands him to go out of station for a week.i try to console myself but after sometime when i think he is going to leave me for a week i start to cry immediately....i know he will come back in a week,he is doing it for us(to go up the ladder in job)....i know i know i know but my heart is not understanding all this...half my heart says iam childish and half cries when i think he is going away for a week....pls help me out....

Im a really hard worker and feel calm , my employees seem to really like me but I keep thinking what if someone finds out?Has anyone else overcame odds and done well professionally? I always hear about people with schizophrenia on skid row but I think its because they arent on meds I feel fine Im just scared and nervous about what are the odds of this working out . I feel like Im meant for this job.

i had it taken today and it was 8.6 (normal is 14)- my mom freaked out. (she's a nurse and all that she can think about now is "what if she has cancer")

What are some things that would make my levels be so low??


I am always cold! like now!
I dont eat very healthy
i bruise easily
i am ALWAYS tired....even if i just woke up from a 10 hr. nap

are there any doctors or nurses out there that could help me?

...and does anyone know about or have major depressive disorder with psychotic features or borderline personality disorder? I need some advice on different treatment options.

I was there because the unhealthy way I cope is self injury and I had to get staples. I've been doing it since I was 9 so please...I know how bad and addictive it is.
I feel worse because I caused so many problems for my family while I was there. I didn't really need to be there because it didn't change anything. I still have the urge to hurt myself and I am still working on it the same way I was before.

My sister is suffering from Metastases Breast Cancer stage IV,she was advised for Oral Chemo & she started the doses but while routine blood test it was found that she is having JAUNDICE infection in LIVER.[ The cancer is already spread in her LIVER,BONES.] so Drs stopped her all medicines & aked her to take heavy diet food [ mostly sweets] .. is there any alternative medicine for this? please suggest. Can anybody tell what is the life span of this patient?

I have stopped the pill since the doctor told me since that was in January. I have had a half day of bleeding afterwards. But since then I have not had my period. I have been taking PG tests and negative. Right now I should get my period but haven't. My breasts are sore right now it started yesterday. I have no idea to what to do. Am I pregnant or not? Or is it too soon to worry. I have taken PG tests and still negative. One thing I am noticing is that I have the hicups alot more than usual.Does anyone have any ideas or been though this before?

I have stable/unstable angina due to my small bloodvessels being weak and deterioating before bringing adequate blood supply to my heart. I have had symptoms of a bladder infection for the past 2 weeks (blood and pain when passing urine) but the doctor actually thinks that I have a bartholin gland abscess because the urine test showed no bacteria growth. I have been on antibiotics for a week now, the blood has stopped and there is less pain. The doctor thinks that I should wait before draining it because it is quite small now but it is very frustrating for me to wait. Is it likely to go by itself and I am supposed to see puss coming out?
