I may have to have the fluid from one hip joint scrapped out and was wondering how this affects the joint? Can you still walk properly, will it impair my walking and general function of the hip and for how long if so? Or can the joint work without it?

When I run / jog anything generally over 6 miles the insides of both of my feet get really sore, and soft skin. When I run over 10 miles they tend to blister. Can anyone recommend a way around this?

My sister has been having seizures and migranes. Our NHS neurologist is useless. She has a history of some mental health problems and so he assumes that she is faking it - which she is definatly not! On one hospital visit, when haveing a seizure, they did sternum rubs etc which left huge bruises, with no response.
When she is having the migranes, as well as having the seizures some of the time, she loses her speech - she knows what she wants to say and can write it but can't say it, and she loses use of her right arm.
We got a private consult and it was sugeested that she has hemiplegic migrane, and that the possible treatments included anti-epileptic drugs, but because of the seizures she can't try those until she has had an EEG done; however, the NHS consultant won't arrange one, and we can't afford to get more treatment privatly.
We have been told that while she has the hemiplegic migrane, which causes the speech and arm problems, but he wasn't sure about the seizures.

It was a concern. And started in the afternoon. This morning most of the sensation had gone. They also felt very warm and numb.

I was going to see a doctor if it continued today but chose not to as most of the 'pins and needles' have diappeared.

I'm worried that it may be some circulation problem - which may also indicate some other more serious cardio-related illness.

Any serious advice would certainly be helpful. Thank you.

I can't eat cheese, because it actually makes me sick and i try to have as little milk in my diet as possible, because i get stomach cramps after consuming milk. Through experience, i've therefore learnt to minimise my consumption of dairy products. Does this mean i'm lactose intolerant or something else? What can be done about this? Do i need to use supplements?
